I appreciate what you're saying.

But don't you agree that with God being infinite He has everything under control.

I like the story of the Shunammite woman when she came to Elisha her son having died and her response 'all is well'. 2 Kg 4:26

Bad stuff in the world has always been going on. Back in Bible times, people's children were taken as slaves for unpaid taxes.

You can not playdown or minimize what our world has become.

John 16

33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

yes, God grieves for the sin and the lost, among other things that I may not have mentioned. He is our father, who loves His children.

God certainly is not happy about recent events in the news - but He was not caught off guard or surprised by these things either. He is still in control, and in the mean time the world continues to do what it always has. Look up, cheer up, for our redemption is closer than it was yesterday.

There hasn't been a time in the history of human civilization when society hasn't been corrupt.

Why do so many Christians prefer to look on the negative side of things?

Jesus told us not to hide our light (negativity) but to ALWAYS let our light shine (positivity).
