And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. 2 Cor 5:1 For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. John2:14:4 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." I am a sojourner on earth, longing for my heavenly home! Sing the wondrous love of Jesus, sing his mercy and his grace: In the mansions bright and blessed, he’ll prepare for us a place. When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be! While we walk the pilgrim pathway, clouds will overspread the sky; But when traveling days are over, not a shadow, not a sigh. When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be! Let us then be true and faithful, trusting, serving every day, Just one glimpse of God’s great glory will the toils of life repay. When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be!

Do you know what the Bible says about being proud?

I don't think name calling is necessary. And when you do make a statement like "deceived people" you had better have scripture to back it up. I understand the homesick part, so did Paul. All the homesickness we feel for our eternal home will be just a memory one day and worth it all when we see our Savior face to face. Until then we are to be content where we are. Thank you Omega for reminding me of that. As someone once put it, some people are so heavenly minded they are no earthly good.
Guest
Actually, I am not homesick at all. I love enjoying the creation provided for me, and am content as the bible encourages us to be in Philippians 4. I am not at all greedy, I can patiently await the day when I go home.
