Nope, I make a few exceptions. I love pineapple upside down cake and a good carrot cake. The rest of them, I just don't like, never have. Angered my mother as she loved cake and hated pie (totally the opposite for me). 

 

Although, we would compromise sometimes. I don't totally hate cake that is unfrosted, so I would give in and let her make me a cake for my birthday as long as she left my piece unfrosted

Cake is not pie, in this there is no lie. 
Though cake is acceptable and best when frosted, 
Pie is superior and cannot be accosted.
