WHO IS GOD?

Jesus Is God

Isaiah 7:14

7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Isaiah 9:6

9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Micah 5:2

5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

John 1:1, 14

1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 1:10

1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

John 8:24, 58, 59

8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

8:59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

John 14:6-11

14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

2 Corinthians 5:19

5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

1 Timothy 3:16

3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Has anyone here even listen to a Oneness/Triniy Debate.  If you have please let me know.  Also if it is avalible online I would love to know where.

Do any of you have a favorite teacher of the Trinity, that you have heard before?  I like to listen to other peoples view of the subject?  I try not to be closed minded on things.  Thank you in advance for your responses.

Check this out -

http://www.goodpreaching.com/media/index.p...n+Magee+Debates

This is a page with debates between Gordon Magee and some guy named Toddy - Church of Christ I think - on the godhead. Gordon Magee is from Ireland so his accent really shows! :24: He's also the guy who wrote the book "Is Jesus in the Godhead or is the Godhead in Jesus?"

http://www.goodpreaching.com/media/index.p...n+Hicks+Debates

This is a page with three debates by marvin Hicks versus some Church fo Christ guys (one may be a Baptist, not sure). The first one I think is on both the godhead and the Holy Ghost.

I know that there are some that Oneness Pentecostals recommend, but what about the Trinitarians here? Do any of you know about any debates? And if so do you know where I can hear them? Thanks in advance for the 411.

So far no trinitarians have responded to my question about Oneness/Trinity debates. I would like to ask another question then. Who do you recommend to listen to as far as teaching on the Trinity? So far I have listened to the following, just to name a few:

Steve Brown, June Hunt, David Jeremiah, Michael Youssef, R.C. Sproul, Gene Cook, Robert M. Bowman, Jr. and Hank Hanagraaf.

And on the flip side of this has an Trinitarians here listened to any Oneness teachers/preacher on the subject of the Oneness/Trinity? If so who?

Thank you inadvance for the information.

How about listening to Scriptures my friend!

The problem in this modern Church age is that many are led astray and deceived by false doctrines because they do not take heed to what Jesus Himself had said, what did He say?

Matthew 24:4 - And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that (no man) deceive you.

The deceived would rather listen to their pastor and their Church then to the sound doctrine found in Scriptures alone. What saith the Scriptures?

Read and study diligently to show thyself approved to God. Please explain to me did the Spirit of the father dwell in the human Body of Jesus? Did Jesus have a human spirit or a divine spirit? And if God became incarnate as man, if Jesus did not have a human spirit, would He be considered human? the Word for flesh is{sarx}which alludes to His humanity, or in the Body of a "MAN". So what Spirit dwelled in the Body of Christ, care to explain?

God Bless!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
