Daniel 9 Verse 23: "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people, and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sin, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up the vision and the prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy."

Notice that seventy weeks were determined upon the Jewish people and upon the Holy City Jerusalem to bring about six important conditions as mentioned in this verse.

When prophecies are given in relation to days, it has been definitely proven by passing events, that we must take each day for a year in their correct application. The prophet Ezekiel gives us this instruction chapter 4, verses 5 and 6.

We have also learned from chapter 7 how wonderfully the 1,260-day period applies to Rome and the work of the little horn power, the papacy.

This seventy-week period, reduced to days therefore equals 490 years, as there are 490 days in 70 weeks. At the end of this 490-year period, reconciliation was to be made for iniquity, and a means provided to forgive sins, or to make an end of sins; also to anoint the Most Holy.thus the new covenant

Why then did those in Judea not flee to the mountains at Christs Death.  And what was the great distress to come.

The Messiah was to be cut off, but not for Himself - Verse 26. Now in verse 27, we find that in the midst of this last week, HE WOULD CAUSE the sacrifice to cease. When he made his soul an offering for sin (Isaiah 53:8, 9, 10), the old system of sacrifices ended. The blood of the lamb offered twice daily was finished. This cutting off the Messiah (Isa. 53:8; also Daniel 9:27), happened in the midst of this seventieth week. Then there were three and a half years left to fulfill the 70 weeks exactly. The 70 weeks were determined upon Daniel's people.

During the following one half of this last week, or three and a half years, they refused to hear the message. The Messiah also said just before He was cut off, speaking of the Jews: "They shall fall by the edge of the sword and be led away captive into all nations, and Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the Gentiles UNTIL the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled" (Luke 21:24).

During this three and a half years, they turned against their own race, put them in prison, and stoned them to death. Notice Acts 7:54 to 58, also chapter 8:1 to 3, and chapter 5:18 to 20 etc. The 70th week is already past

If the 70th Week is past, why has not Israel and the holy city Jerusalem completed the six tasks.  For Seventy Sevens have been decreed for Daniels people and Daniels holy city to 1. Finish transgression, 2. Put an end to sin, 3. To atone for wickedness, 4. To bring in everlasting righteousness, 5. To seal up vision and prophecy, 6 To anoint the most holy.  This is not a prophecy about Christ fulfilling the six tasks.  The New Covenant is an everlasting covenant, not a seven year covenant.  This is where many error, saying the 70th Week is past.  Yet this New Covenant did not begin until Christ death, His shed Blood.   Number 5 is a killer; to seal up vision and prophecy (if this were the case, Johns book of Revelation did not happen), and you have no case.

Like I said the pre-trib doctrine believers want to add a pre-trib resurrection for the pre-trib rapture to join. The problem still persists the only 2 resurrections remaining happen at the second coming and after the 1000 year reign. There is no pre-trib resurrection spoken about in the Bible, so there is no pre-trib rapture.

Now marv wants to add another second resurrection for the unjust after the 1000 year reign.   WOW !!!!!

Enoch

So when do the Fallen Angels go into the  Lake of Fire.  The A/C and the False Prophet go into the Lake of Fire before the 1000 years (Rev19:20).  So yes Scripture says so, Scripture does not support your man made Post-Trib theory.  So when does the killing stop; Why the rebellion after the 1000 years by Satan and the nations against Israel and the Holy City if all have received their Resurrected Bodies according to your theory (Rev 20::7-9).  Your doctrine is not sound.  Why did the those of the First Resurrection follow Satan.  Can you answer this million dollar question.

Why does Satan go into the Lake of Fire before those of the Great White Throne Judgment, yet after the beast and the False Prophet.?

Why does Satan go into the lake of fire prior to the Great White Throne Judgment? To fulfill the Scripture in Ezek.28:18 that he will be turned to ashes upon the earth in sight of all that see him.

Not everyone of the "nations" during Christ's thousand years reign will follow Satan when he's released one last time after that period, meaning they will not all be Millennium converts to Christ Jesus.

So those left, the unsaved of the "nations" that aren't deceived by Satan's last temptation after the thousand years, how and when will those be judged? They will stand before Christ's Judgment Seat after the 1,000 years and judged based on their works, without His Blood covering them. The Millennium converts to Christ will have their names found in the book of Life and will be saved, which I think will include the majority of Israelites that rejected Jesus during this present world.

So what you are saying is Rev 7:9 - After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. v 14 - These are they who have come out of the great tribulation.  Who are these individuals?

Those of Rev.7:9 forward are the Gentiles included in the "first resurrection" at Christ's coming. The 144,000 are not the only ones of the "first resurrection" unto Christ Jesus, otherwise it would mean only Israelites can be of the "first resurrection", which is not true.

Rev.20

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

That can apply to 3 groups:

1 - those beheaded "for the word of God" = all inclusive in the OT

2 - those beheaded "for the witness of Jesus" = all inclusive from the time of Christ's death and resurrection up to the day of His coming, the last day of this present world.

3 - those which "had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark...." = the saints persecuted during the great tribulation that overcame by the Blood of The Lamb.

Which group(s) would apply to the "great multitude" of Rev.9? no.2 and no. 3

Notice this is only about those of the "first resurrection" that will reign with Christ Jesus.

The church foundation is build on twelve jews.rev 21.

They shall build houses and plant vineyards and eat the fruits there of.

They shall be at rest.

They shall be the priests and ministers, and  teach the gentiles living outside the square.

The gentiles  whom they have served shall now serve them.

The resurrected saints shall be their teachers, and Christ king of kings.

jesse.

Jesse, the church is not built upon the twelve Apostles, but upon Christ. He is the cornerstone which everything else is built upon.

Revelation 21 is speaking about the new heaven, new earth and the New Jerusalem, not the church.

I am not sure where you got your ideas from, care to tell us? They sound familiar, but I don't want to assume.

One light.

Revelation 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

Of which Jesus is the cornerstone of the foundation.

jesse.

Jesse,

The the New Jerusalem is not the church.

If those who come out of the Trib are of the First Resurrection.  Who are those who follow Satan at the end of the Mill?
