Good one,ya got me there! lol Is 999 the same as we have 911 in America?,,,,,I thought triple zero was for emergency ,or is thuat just for Australia? Love,Kwik Emergency service's in the UK are 999 (For non emergency matters you can contact the police using 101) Emergency service's in Australia are 000 or 112 ( 112 can only be used from a digital phone.) When in Australia ,(from www .acma. gov .au/ "It would be advisable for people travelling into areas where mobile coverage may be poor or unavailable, to investigate carrying an alternative personal safety device. In remote areas, for example, a Personal Locator Beacon (or EPIRB - Emergency Position-Indicating Radio Beacon) may be a suitable option" "Australia's mobile networks cannot automatically transmit GPS data from a handset to an emergency service call-taker at present. If you do have a GPS enabled handset, you can however verbally convey your estimated geographic position to emergency services and this may assist them to locate you." But I do love to hear the Welsh singing. I believe they are the best in the world. They can move me to tears.
