Kwiphilly and Starry- this has kind of what my doubt has been about lately. I hear a lot of people equating "Faith" to "Hope" but they really aren't the same at all. I mean, we never say "I hope there is a heaven," we say "I have faith there is a heaven." We never say, "I hope Jesus walked on the water," we say "I have Faith that Jesus walked on the water. Nice to meet you and thank you for your reply. What do you mean by "Jesus has enough faith for everyone?"Jesus is God and the faith we need comes from Him and His words to us. Romans 10:17 "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Did not John write in 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."? "Whoever" could be every single person, but not all will choose to follow Christ. He does have enough faith for everyone, if they would just repent and believe. I'm hearing from everyone that Faith is about knowing a truth about God and the universe but the problem is without any proof, the older I get the more I question. It's hard for me to believe without having any evidence and I've never been personally "touched" by Jesus like many others have said they were.
