From the article:

(Harley) “LiveWire” goes from zero to 60 MPH in less than four seconds. The electric bike can also go 50 miles on a three and a half hour charge.

Soo, if I want to go on a 250 mile trip that's 17 ½ hours charge time, with 5 hours riding for a total of 22 ½ hours...
Harley, tree hugging “green” who would have ever thought...

I think it's brilliant. I've always hated the sound of Harleys and the company has to think of the future, they are a public company now. The future is sounding wierd more and more but what's wrong with silence. I've had good radio interviews interrupted, conversations, phone calls by a dozen or more harleys going by. I cringe at the sound coming up the valley. So I applaud the future of quiet in the country landscape were I live. An old highway used in the past by horses and buggies polluted for decades by loud crap pipes seeming to love the ride of the older by way, can, in decades to come, claim a more modest noise level.

There are so many of us out here that hate the sound but we don't speak because of the popularity of the "American" beast of Harley. Saying something just ain't worth the trouble but YEAH FOR HARLEY !!!!!!!!

no its just a saying I have. I picked it up from a co worker. She is always saying that as an expression like when your exasperated or being driven crazy or when something silly happens. lol.

0 to 60 in less than 5 seconds isn't anything to laugh about though.

That is one of the most exciting things about electric power, it's torque curve is off the charts when compared to in ICE (internal combustion engine).  Though, I am not at all excited about a Silent-But-Deadly Harley.  I like my 115 db Sportster as is.
