I'm going to be making a visual novel soon, using fantasy-style characters facing different situations that are metaphors to Christianity and can be used to help Christians learn about their relationship with God. Similar to the Narnia series.
However, whilst Narnia has a lion to represent God, I've thought about having a queen in my story.

Would it be wrong to represent God in this way? since God isn't a female?
Or is it acceptable since the whole story is just a metaphor?

If it is wrong, should I change it to a king?

how would your target audience receive a queen as a representation of God?  don't be too quick to answer...

God knows who your target audience is; go with the choice that has the most peace (or least turmoil) as you seek His leading :)

It would definitely be misleading and wrong. A king would be accurate.

He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Even a queen would bow to Him. Make Him Who He is.

Yes, a King. Not a queen.  As was said, He is King Of Kings, and Lord of Lords. In all honesty I would not watch anything that depicted my Heavenly Father as a queen.

I think God should be a King not a queen. Aslan was a male lion. This world is already confusing enough. Ever read the book The Shack? God was depicted as a woman in that book and it just felt disrespectful to me.

KING~!

The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven,

and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods,

that they may provoke me to anger. Jeremiah 7:18

The Shack was a very popular book.I am an avid reader.I picked it up and got through several chapters.A red flag went up.I started doing some research.Well,I never picked it up again and try to make better decisions in the books that I read.
