Ummm...yeah...get counseling, but not with two men! Female, please! An older one.

Yesterday, I was at a pot luck at Bible study chatting with a lady in her eighties. She admitted to me that she had " an addiction to  sex with my husband.!" It kinda derailed me, but really, they have been there.

Thank you for being open about this. This is clearly not a men's only issue. I don't believe for a second that all the women in porn are being forced or given drugs. They are getting paid well and they like it!

And who doesn't like it? I just don't believe in extremes in anything. "Moderation in all things." Once you have desensitized your self from all the filth of porn, "normal" will be exciting again. I think that whatever two people want to do together is acceptable in God's eyes. But there are limits, and I have no doubt you know what they are.

keep praying!  You will overcome this and find joy in your husband again. We are promised " anything better than we can ask for or imagine." That applies to every aspect of our lives.

I might  an addiction problem to pornography, I don't watch it every day but I've noticed that when I do watch it it's for a long time. I know what the Bible says about sexual immorality and I know that God is not pleased by my sins. I just don't know how to stop myself before I get started. I know when I have an itch for it and I do pray but I still fine myself watching it. Yes I told my loving husband and he has put blocks up for me but they don't last that long what do I do

Welcome To Worthy m.a.g !

Thank you for your honesty with your addiction.

Addictions are a symptom and effect of a cause.

Its great news to know that you love God and do read holy scripture.

Christ Jesus allowed Himself to be nailed on the cross and shed His Holy untainted blood for the remission of our sins and sickness. By His stripes we are healed.

Christ Jesus blood was shed to buy us back from the lures of the enemy.

Addictions are lures from the enemy.

Its only purpose is to steal kill and destroy Gods creation.

You are Gods creation.

Once you talk with God, confessed with sincerity of heart your sins to God, have asked Gods Only begotten Son Christ Jesus to come make a home in your heart, He will come, He will come to a sincere heart that asks truthfully for help.

Trust in God with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding but trust that God only wants good things for your life. Because He does want to come and help you back into his light of truth and love.

He wants to set you free. Addictions inslaves us.

What inslaves us, captures us away from the freedom of being who we were truly meant to be. Children of the Light. the true light of God.

The Word of God is Gods true light, Gods Truth.
The truth shall set you free.

Trusting can take time, ask God to help you to trust Him and that His word is stronger than any stronghold the devil can present you with.

God has given us each His perfect seed of faith.

How we choose to cultivate it, is our choice.

The seed of Faith from God begins to grow as we place more and more Trust in God and His Word

Even Christ Jesus when being tempted by satan, would reply "it is written." because there is True Holy Power in the Word of God.

God desires to have a daily relationship with you. He desires that we fellowship with Him, so that He can also fellowship with us through our hearts.

God your Father loves you so very much and in Him and His Word you can trust, to guide you, heal you, , deliver you from what trauma the devil has placed in your way to try and steal you away from Gods love and complete peace.

Don't despair, with God all things are possible.

Christ Jesus said that He came for those who are sick, not for those who are well and to go learn what that means.

It means we are ALL sick (one way or another) and in need of salvation from our sicknesses, body, soul and mind.

The good news is with Christ Jesus in our hearts we become overcomers.

Do you have faith to believe and trust this?

If you do, even if its a little God will work with you.

He is the one who will work in your heart and transform your mind closer to the mind of Christ than the mind of this world.

The Word of God says that He will never give us more than we can bear.

Trust in God, pray to God to help you trust Him more and more, Ask Him what it is you can do to show that you trust him more.

What are you willing to give up and trust Him to see you through?

When I asked my own self these questions years ago, I knew, I could no longer do the things of the world like I did with certain things to truly

be able follow Christ Jesus and from there, have Christ help me become the overcomer He knows I can be.

So I asked God to help me and show me how to get closer to Him.

Over the years of me spiritually searching, I amassed a great collection of new-age books, old Chinese Taoist books and philosophies

So to follow Christ Jesus, I rook all these books, some where very nice and expensive books and I brought them to the country and burnt them all.

The moment that I threw those books into the fire, I began to feel lighter and free.

I had not yet realized or read this had  actually  happened to other people , when Paul came to preach to them the good news. they all went and burnt there esoteric books that had nothing to do with serving God.

I did the same with music. some of the music would get me to daydream, kind of trance. it made me disconnect from reality. it sometimes gave me thoughts of suicide.

I ended up throwing the music out as well, and again I felt another lightness & freedom .

With every strong hold I would give up, God gave me freedom. a lightened feeling of a heavy load being lifted.

And with every step of trust and faith I placed in God, the more trust and faith I received.

Our faith and trust in God throughout life, God works in us. He transforms us slowly but surely into His new creation , the creation we were always meant to be. Free and whole and at peace..

As long as we keep a relationship with God, He will Never leave us, but guide us every step of our lives and also free us step by step.

Yes it is good to know that you are not alone, but really God is the ONE to replace all loneliness.

The more God is in your heart the less alone you will feel, with or without people around you..

And the more faith and trust you place in God, the more He in return will give you, because you have allowed Him to.

God is very gentle. when He comes to help convicting your heart. He does so with such fine care and delicateness.

He does not force himself on you, He is patient, and with the most care and gentleness He makes His presence known, when you decide to allow Him into your heart,

God desires that you speak to Him, that you ask Him the questions of your heart.

If you invite God into your heart, He promises to come make a home in your heart.

Form that point on, He can speak to your heart more easily, because you have asked Him in.

Remember the Word of God is alive and ready to work in you.

Hebrews 4:12

God's Word is Living and Active
12For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

Trust in the Lord God with Ail your heart, and He will see you through

God bless you :)
