Hi Monanta Marv,

I think we`ve both have had our say & we will have to leave it to the Holy Spirit to show us the truth in time.

Blessings, bro. Marilyn.

Hi n2thelight,

Correct. As I see it from scripture, neither Christ nor the Body of Christ will be on earth during the Millennium.

Marilyn.

Cool,so what day is the below,notably v 4

Zechariah 14:1 "Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee."

Zechariah 14:3 "Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle."

Zechariah 14:4 "And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south."

Zechariah 14:9 And the Lord shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and His name One."

Hi n2thelight,

Great scriptures there telling us that the Lord Jesus Christ will be King over all the earth. Yes, just like the Queen of England is Queen over Australia, BUT she doesn`t have her seat of authority based here, (in Australia). So it is with the Lord, He is King OVER the earth & has a regent, king David to rule from Jerusalem.

`...they shall serve the Lord their God & David their king who I will raise up for them.` (Jer. 30: 9)

Marilyn.

Hello Marilyn

Still not understanding your view

Why tell us He shall rule over all the earth if He was already doing so?

In that Day,He shall rule, what day?

And what happens after His feet touch the Mount?

It is from this point that He rules, from earth.....

Big difference in ruling from earth,vs Heaven

Hin2thelight,

Yes it`s often hard to understand each other with just little bits of info. However, we persevere. Christ as we know has all power & authority, however He is giving the Gentile nations a certain time to show, to themselves & others that they cannot rule over the world righteously & justly. Then as we know He will judge them, (the nations) & set up His own government to rule over the nations of the world, as He has promised to Israel.

Thus when it is written that the `kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord & of His Christ,` (Rev. 11: 15) this refers to the Lord`s righteous rule directly upon the rebellious nations & being received by those who looked for His reign or who acted rightly in the difficult times - throughout the Tribulation.

And yes, as you said He does rule from the earth, but I believe just to connect with Israel & its leaders & set up His kingdom. He puts in place a man called David & anoints Him as regent, King David, (Jer. 30: 9) & also anoints priests, (Isa. 66:21)  This is the government in the Millennium.

We need to remember that the Lord Jesus Christ has more to deal with & rule over than just this earth.

Marilyn.

Hi n2thelight,

You asked - When does Christ`s feet touch the Mt of Olives? We know that when Christ returns to earth His feet will touch the Mount of Olives & it will be split in two.

`Then the Lord will go forth & fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle. And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east, & the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, for east to west. making a very large valley;...` (Zech. 14: 3 & 4)

Hi n2thelight,

Here`s a bit of interesting info - The Mt Zion reporter published the following -

`Holiday Inns planned to erect a large hotel on a hilltop just outside Jerusalem City. They sent their group of engineers to research the site. After some investigation they returned & filed their report. There was no way a hotel could be built on that location. There was a geological fault under the selected spot on the Mount of Olives. it could be split down the centre at any time. The project was abandoned.`

Marilyn.

PS. I`ve been thinking on answering your question in detail. Thus if you don`t mind I will start a new thread & we can see how the discussion goes from there.

Hi RevelationWriter,

How do you get the connection between Matt. 25 & Rev. 7: 9?  Care to share what you are thinking?

Marilyn.
