Flower, you have represented your position (which happens to be mine) quite nicely. I think we need to let batman (sinner saved) and robin (shar) sleep on all this good knowledge we, in particular you and post, have passed their way. I agree with your last comment here- we are grafted into CHRIST (not Moses, no offense to Moses), and we echo the words of Mark as he quoted our LORD JESUS, "nothing can defile you that merely goes into the stomach (such as pork or shrimp). " God cares about what goes into and out of our HEART, not the belly! You may not convince the dynamic duo, but your words may be just the words another young brother or sister in Christ need to hear. At the very least, you warmed my heart with your words and scripture cites. Thanks for your diligence here, spock ps I still love and appreciate both sinner and shar even though we don't see eye to eye on this topic. You two present a convincing argument, but just not enough to sway me to your way of thinking. Thanks though for being faithful and zealous for God's word. I am saying the dietary laws given by G-d do not seen to have been done away with by the practice of Yeshua, the Apostles or the early believers who came into the synagogue and learn and studied Moses. That the original faith that was preached by Paul and the Apostles and practiced by our Messiah was Judaism and was a sect of Judaism known as The Way.
