No, I couldn't torture my children for even one second.  I understand where you're coming from.  But God's ways are not our ways and we cannot understand His reasoning.  Since He is perfect, He can not do evil.  And He cannot have sin in His presence.  We won't know His reasoning until we stand before Him.

What does the 2nd death mean to you?

Hell is not eternal...The soul that sins shall die..

More false teaching.  If Hell is not eternal then you have made God a liar. Please note carefully (Rev 20:10):

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

What else can “day and night for ever and ever" mean other than what is exactly stated?  It is simply tiresome to listen to such drivel.

It certainly does not mean the vaporization of all those in the Lake of Fire.  Please tell us what it means to you.

First death = separation of soul and spirit from the body = physical death

Second death = eternal separation of the sinner from God = eternal torment in the Lake of Fire (applicable to all evil spirits and sinners).

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. (Revelation 14:9-11).

Where is scripture that says the 2nd death is seperation from God?

Was Hell (the Lake of Fire) created for the devil and his angels?  Will they be eternally separated from God?  Will those in the Lake of Fire experience the same separation and torment? Is casting into "outer darkness" separation from God? Is weeping and gnashing of teeth a sign that they are separated from God? Is eternal torment and eternal punishment separation from God?

Just bring all the Scriptures together and see it for yourself.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Rev 20:14,15).

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Rev 21:8)

That's where you wrong as even satan himself shall be destroyed never to be anymore

Ezekiel 28:18

"Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee."

Ezekiel 28:19

"All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more."
