Therein lies the problem.

Why can't Apple unlock the Suspects phone with FBI ? and hand it over the unlocked phone or give the data to the FBI.. Safety against terrorism outweighs "Privacy" of the individual. ....They don't have to hand over "THE program" that Unlocks the phone. Right now not even Apple has the technology to unlock the phone, it would have to be created by them. Once it is created it cannot be uncreated, it will be a threat to each and everyone of us. And no, safety against terrorism does not out weigh the privacy of the individual. If that were the case nobody would have cared about the NSA spying on our own citizens. How much are you willing to give up for safety? Right now Amecians murder 10,000 plus Amercians a year with a firearm. Would you give up your individual right to own a firearm for safety reasons? This is highly doubtful. Of course Apple can lie about this also and claim they have to "create" a program. Chances are a good hacker could unlock that. But either way, I dont see how this action, either way, is a "christian" action amd worthy of a boycott...each to their own, we do live in a free country, though its getting less and less free all the time. Personally, im getting tired of sacrificing freedom in the name of "safety". This world will never be safe until Christ returns, time to get the freedom back. I don't want the government into my phone personally.... much less any of the bad guys.... then again I have a samsung and they may already be able to do that...
