I just reread your post Ayin Jade, and realized there may have been sarcasm.  I guess I should expect that around here.  I thought it was kind of cool that you would be interested in the politics and issues in my country.    :(

Beloved let us love one another, for love is of God, and anyone who loves knows God.  He that loves not, knows not God, because God is LOVE.  1 John 4: 7-8

he has never gone bankrupt,    4 of the companies he has had did restructuring chapter 11's, but that is very common in the business world here for a very long time.....    and consider that in the USA 50% of new businesses fail within 5 years, he has done better than the average.

And according to Trump and his siblings, Trump started his personal wealth with a 1 million dollar loan from his father....    the company that his father let him take over was worth between 120 to 150 million, and I don't know if he had to give his brother or sister any of that...   don't really care.

i think you are really arrogant to call Mr. Trump a mess of a man.   All you seem to know of him is what you seem to see on your liberal media....

How many times are people going to keep repeating the same false information?

Trump's company was not a "new company, it was multi hundred million dollar company he got from his father.

Only 5% of companies that size go bankrupt, and no company that size had ever filed bankruptcy more than twice, let alone 4 times.

Sure I would be interested. But I usually do not comment on the politics of another country because it is not my business. Im not there, I cant see how their politics affects them. So I find it bizarre (and annoying) that someone from another country would try to sway any american. Someone not in the us cannot understand what is going on. Any more than I can grasp what is going on in your country.

Sorry, 4, not 2 bankrupties on his big businesses, many of which were gambling casinos (again, how this matters not to Christians is mind boggling) ....   Trump is extremely arrogant, probably a narcissist.  It doesn't matter what i say you will defend him with your last breath and your mind is not going to get changed for anything.  I feel very badly for you.  this is how people become jaded.. They simply can't step back and take a 2nd look, or step back and look at the bigger picture.   :( I am not going to engage you any longer.  Your close mindedness and stubbornness is telling me any sort of attempt at a discussion will not be able to happen.

Good because I resent you coming and putting down someone from my country who looks like most of the country likes....   including me.

It's insulting to me for you to come here insulting what looks to be our next president then throw Bible scripture at us when we don't go along with your thoughts....

Well, yes you are repeating falsehoods.  First, 50% of all new business do not go bankrupt, most of that group just go out of business without reneging on their debt.

Second, the bankruptcies were not all "different companies", the first two were two separate casino/resort operations that much is true.  Then he combined those operations into Trump Hotel & Casino resorts which in turn went bankrupt, which he in turn renamed as Trump Entertainment Resorts, which in turn of course went bankrupt.   All total the bankruptcies removed 4.7 billion dollars of debt from his companies.  That is 4.7 billion dollars that bond holders, creditors, suppliers and employees were cheated out of.  And despite Trump implying it was just banks that lost money (as if that makes it ok) a lot of little people were left holding the bag for him between employees not being paid, suppliers not being paid for their goods and the people whose investment accounts held Trump bonds, which included retirement accounts.

Third, he did not do "better than the average" in fact he stands alone atop the bankruptcy championship. .

How did you come to the conclusion "most of the country" likes Trump.   In polls he has an average favorable rating of 32% and a unfavorable rating of 61%.   That is for the country as a whole, both parties.  But based upon his primary results, only about 35% or so of people have liked him enough to vote for him.   He has not won most of the votes in any state, so not even most of any single state likes him.

Ok, so I guess no one here, especially you, on Worthy, comments or has any opinions on Israel or Palestine.... none of your business, right?  And certainly you cannot grasp what's going on unless you live there either, correct?

Well let me tell you,  I never commented on the other elections since I've been here.  I am making them now, because I, like a lot of other Canadians are quite fearful of what's going on.  A friend was actually in tears about it.  The fact that this guy tells supporters to physically assault others who disagree, is all the proof one needs to show you he's complete moron.  You don't need more.  You have more... much more, but that's all you really need.   Secondly, since I am in a neighboring country, I guess you are not aware that many Americans are threatening to leave the country to come to my country?  Don't know how you missed that but you might see how that affects me directly.  Thirdly, I have a sister, brother in law, nieces and a nephew living in the states, not to mention friends, so please forgive my concern.

It didn't really surprise me that you had to ask when our next election is... That you had no idea we even just had one.   Maybe it's YOUR media coverage that is lacking.  Anyway.  Truth be told, and maybe you can't understand this unless you are NOT an American, but the reputation for most Americans all over the world, is that they are arrogant and have little regard or respect or knowledge of other countries.  Very, very true sentiment of your neighbours to the North.  We make jokes about it all the time.... Jokes about how some of you think we all live in igloos, or we get asked, "Do you know Joe" from Canada, etc.

Rick Mercer, a famous Canadian TV personality, (whom I am sure you don't know) from our national network, CBC, (which I'm sure you have never heard of), has made some very funny videos of interviews of Americans, called "Talking to Americans"  Available all over Youtube.  You might check it out.
