When I was in er they wanted to do a chest Xrays. This what they say. You need to go to a lung dr. There is some dark shadows. I think he said dark. I asked is it lung cancer he said I don't think so. I asked if COPD. The answer was no. This is getting quite scary. What could it be and what do bad shadows look like.

You remain in my prayers, tigger.  I think the unknown is often more frightening than anything.  I hope your answers will come soon, and until then I pray our Father will give you comfort to ease your stress.

Many blessings to you....:emot-heartbeat:

Shadows can be caused by any number of things, including just pneumonia. Although that tends to be light shadows. Thing is, without seeing it, no one online, and certainly no one who isnt trained as a doctor, can tell you what it is. So there is no sense in worrying about it or asking us what is wrong. You will just have to wait and see what the doctor says.

I know I just need to know if I'm ok. Some prayers might help.

Ayn Jade is right, Hang in there. Shadows can be caused by any number of things, including just pneumonia. Happened to me a coal miner. I thought I was getting black lung, I had all the symptoms of black lung and or lung cancer, coughing up stuff, including blood, fortunately, after much prayer and trusting in God that I AM HEALED AS I PRAYED,  it was finally diagnosed as pneumonia and I quickly got over it, was healed, praise God.. . Nine miners now, in Aus.  in the Queensland mines have black lung. very bad. I'm praying for you tigg!

We can pray, but there is no way any one here, even a trained medical doctor, can tell you if you will be ok or not. We cant examine you nor can we see the xray. It would be irresponsible for someone to say hey its nothing dont worry. We have no way of knowing whats on the xray or what your exam is.
