How do we know that there is a God if we can't see Him?

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (Rom 1:19,20).

What would happen if the moon was not placed perfectly where it has been placed? What would happen if the sun was not placed perfectly where it has been placed?

The simple answer is you cant KNOW there is a God, only believe there is one.

I know in my inner most being there is a God.  Can I prove it, in a way yes.  That is why I posted Romans Chapter 1.  Just look around, see the perfection of creation.  I know because of what He has done for me.  I just know.

While I agree with you 100%, there could be someone standing in Iran that would say the same thing about Allah, or someone who says the same thing about Zeus.   So, while we can "know" in our hearts, there can never be any proof.  Besides, proof removes the need for faith, and faith is essential.

I know there is God and have always known there is God because He has given me(everyone) a measure of Faith to start with......just because some people ignore that yearning inside of us to "know" our Creator does not mean it is not there....

Quote

King James Bible
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.                          Romans 12:3

And we can see in all the splendor of the Universe that Gods Glory is evident, the Grand Designer......seeking,searching,hungry & thirsty we Receive Christ that Faith is Justified ,Gods Grace is added & from that tiny measure of Faith the Gifts of Gods Grace become evident in the Believers Life......we are New Creatures in Christ, the old has passed away by a Renewing of the Mind!!!

Quote

2 Corinthians 5:17King James Version (KJV)

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

To God be the Glory                                                  With love-in Christ,Kwik

No, they really couldn't say that about Allah or Zeus.

Our eyes are not everything.

God also gave us ears to hear. Through hearing His Word faith is created.

God spoke creation into existence and still speaks the new creation into existence.

He does?

Because Muslims don't have a personal, redemptive relationship with Allah and the Greeks didn't have a personal relationship with their gods.  In fact, the gods of the Greeks resented humans.   Neither religion bear any resemblance to genuine Christianity given the difference between what other religions have vs. what real faith is.
