Really mismuffet, using gotqestions.com as your source? They are so anti-Catholic it would be like asking the president of Iran to give his views on the State of Israel.

Peace

Got questions is a reliable Christian Ministry. They adhere to Christianity or I would not post it. They post the truth.

Hello Hoddie,,,,,,May I ask where the the sprinkling of water on the Day of Pentecost was?   The Word of God says they were Baptized ....

There is not a problem with sprinkling.

You have misunderstood what I have said.......Hoddie believes the "baptism" is the sprinking & without it there is not "baptism".........no one said there is anything "wrong" with the outward proclamation that we are in Christ     oh dear

So, if it's not in the bible, you must be talking about traditions?  (Sacred/Apostolic)

uh, so if its not in the bible, what is the validity of it??--- I don't hold much to sacred apostolic tradition unless it is confirmed by scripture ( Yes, Sola Scriptura)

Saying 1/5 of the worlds population agrees with infant baptism only drives home the dangers of false teachings.  Catechism of the catholic church is simply perpetuation of a  false rc. doctrine that has no Biblical validity and using scriptures out of context to support it,  doesn't work either.  Why would any professing  Christian / or Christian church change what the Bible clearly teaches about Baptism and make up their own?

You mean like what you are doing here?

Peace

Except that it is not the biblical way of doing it.

It doesn't matter since Baptism is not a salvation issue. A person is saved if they are sprinkled, immersed or it is poured on them.

I beg to differ, getting a person wet does not SAVE them
