The funny thing is that these groups are atheist, or that is what they state.  I remember once a Satanist complained about how people responded to him.  I asked him why he would use a symbol system (he said he was an atheist) that was so loaded and was bound to bring out deep emotional responses.  Why not say he was an follower of Ayn Rand instead of what he believed was a myth, Satan.  In any-case, they are getting what they want, lots of attention.

personally I think Jesus and the Holy Spirit can stand up to the competition....   While they are doing their thing you just pray for coverage for it to not affect anyone else.

BTW Satanists do not worship Satan, they worship themselves.....      Satan wants you to be your own God just as he is his own and in doing so makes him look right in his own eyes.

Worshiping oneself pretty much represents Satan.

I believe the satanists attorney is wrong on this point.

The government officials we're elected by the people to represent the people (by the people, for the people) who put them into office. I highly doubt the majority of those who voted them into office we're satanists.

Our officials are there to ensure the rights of all, not just the majority.

Well, until the Democrats and their pc agenda appeared, the majority used to get the vote. So if a majority of the city council is not satanist, the majority should rule. No needed to give the minority a right to become a majority just because people want to be pc.

Common sense, people need to get back and be taught what Common sense is.

All? Impossible. Often one man's right is an infringement on another.

Please give a few examples.

I think the burden of proof is on your initial 'idealistic' statement. That maybe is what the officials are there for, but that is not what happens in practice. That is why I said "impossible". So perhaps you can show me some examples where the 'rights' of all exist.

My obvious example is abortion. The 'rights of the mother' vs the 'rights of the unborn'...someone is obviously getting short changed.

my "proof" is the US Constitution.  We were not founded for the betterment of the majority at the expense of the minority.

I do not view abortion as a right, but if you do then I guess I can see where you are coming from.
