Jesus didn't saying anything about women not doing stuff. "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15 KJV I see nothing in this that say only the men should go into the world and preach the gospel. Or women can only teach the gospel to other women. No. I do not see that at all. Surely if it was the case that only men should do this, wouldn't Jesus have said this? But he didn't I don't recall Jesus saying anything about women having one roll and men having another. I mean what about this other part of the verse what does that mean? "But women will be saved through childbearing--if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety." 1 Timothy 2:15. Is Paul saying that a women can not be saved unless she gives birth? That they have to work in faith and in love to earn their salvation? I thought salvation was not obtain through works. But according to Paul, this is the only way a women can be saved. I'm not trying to start a fight here. But I am truly not understanding this part of scripture. I thought no one could be upset or find criticism with this statement. But someone did.

Jesus didn't saying anything about women not doing stuff. This is a very naive observation. The fact that Christ had twelve MALE apostles should be sufficient evidence that He would be the one to bar women from preaching and teaching in churches. Furthermore, since Paul's letters were inspired by the Holy Spirit, what you are really saying is that God's letters caused a lot of fuss. So do you believe that over half the New Testament is not really the Word of God? Or do you believe that women can do as they please regardless of what is in the NT?
