Loretta Lynch effectively went around the 4th Amendment, which requires a warrant to search, by making a secret deal with the NSA.  This is unbelievable.  And unconstitutional.

Since Bush II was in office the NSA has been spying on everybody all the time. As the Judge puts it...Every text message, every e-mail, every phone call.

That is unconstitutional as well, yet nobody has seemed to care.

The point is WE DO CARE!  As the article states, Ms. Lynch gave them a way to skirt getting warrants.

The NSA has been doing this without warrants since the days of Bush II, all Lynch did was make it official that they can share it.

It would be very naive to think that the NSA has been collecting data for the last 14 years or so and has never done anything with it.

I am also not sure how it can be claimed that "we do care" (we being the people of this country) when it has been going on for two administrations and the new one is for it, in fact the new CIA director thinks we need to expand it.

Have they given out this information out to anyone who wants it, up until now? That's what this is about.

That is something you and I will never know.

For me personally I think it would be naive to think that they have just collected it for 14 years and never shared it with anyone.

You may view it differently

Well, the news was about the AG doing this, so it was about her opening up that door, now!  If it had always been this way then she would not have had to do anything other that fold up shop and leave.

Obama's agent cronies that are still in office will continue his work for him.

Remember, Lynch met with Bill Clinton when his wife was under FBI investigation. Maybe not illegal but definitely unethical. Especially when Bill was a former AG in Arkansas himself.

This being labeled a deal, I wonder what was exchanged for it to supposedly go through?

Not about viewpoints. It's about actively bypassing the constitution. Dismissing it with an reasonable possibility of an affirmed maybe doesn't negate that. Politicians get caught, all the time doing what others say that all politicians do. Does that diminish the fact that they were caught? i don't think so.
