The meeting will take place Monday. In a statement, the spokesman for the UN secretary-general condemned the missile launch, saying North Korea's action "is a further troubling violation of Security Council resolutions." https://www.google.com/amp/abcnews.go.com/amp/International/security-council-hold-urgent-meeting-north-korea-missile/story%3Fid%3D45459728?client=ms-android-att-us

Which organization are you referring to? 1 hour ago, other one said: considering our debt, I think it's time we withdraw a whole lot more than just payments to them. We spent .08% of our federal budget on the UN in 2016, about 3 billion dollars. If you're interested in reducing debt, it would be far more effective to make minor cuts to military spending, which totaled over 500 billion dollars in 2016. My main point is that cutting contributions to the UN is not going to have a perceptible impact on our national debt. It's my opinion that if you want the UN to be accomplishing more, then it's going to need a combination of more power/resources, or it would need to allocate its expenditures more in line with what you want it to accomplish. We've cut military way too much... no matter the %, it and many other is a waste, and it all adds up. Check with Dave Ramsey to get a good grip on how to get out of debt.
