This is what we need. When I was a teenager those were the years when we lost sexual morality. It seemed like fun back then but within 20 years I knew we made a mistake. Now we have too many orphans and too many abortions. The real solution to all this is for people to develop sexual morals again. Somehow the idea that a life without casual sex is worse than a life without sunshine, and that's ridiculous. If sexual morals are going to come back it will probably have to be done by us, the Christians. Because sexual morals come from God and we are God's ambassadors here on earth. This will mean big changes in how we behave and in how we dress. I know women often feel that they should be able to wear whatever they please but if they wear clothes that fires up the lust response in guys then actually it's a sin. The reason is in the epistles and I can't remember the scripture I want. But I know Paul said if what we does causes his brother to sin then he won't do it. So if what you wear causes someone else to sin you shouldn't wear it.

And parents have to teach their children that sex isn't important. Parents also need to remember children learn mostly from watching and listening to their parents, what the parents say and do effects the children more than what you try and teach them.

So what do you all I think, I want this to start a discussion. I'm not just preaching.

BBM: I think teaching your children that "sex is not important" is doing a disservice to them. Sex is very important and a gift from God. Teaching them the right way about sex and respect for themselves and their future spouse is, however, important. IMO.

They make software for your computer that will filter out any bad things that might pop up as the result of mistyped words.  Many of them are free and most are very cheap.  Get one of those nothing bad will pop up on your computer.  Problem fixed and the government does not have to keep us safe from ourselves.

While i acknowledge your suggestions, it misses the point.   A park is for all to enjoy, not because there are thugs that hangs out on certain part  that we are to take other routes, they are the ones breaking the rules and they are the ones that should be getting their acts together.   Porn addiction has very devastating outcome and the pain and anguish families go through because men and media are allowed to peddle their ungodly wares.   They are the ones that should behind the strict control  to gain entrance and to see their abominations . It should not that the public has to do all the precautions to avoid perversions to flourish.   Anyway, i  see you point of view and hope you see the vantage point that i am at.  good day.

The way some of you are speaking it's already too late. Someone said Hedonism and I never even heard that word until I was in a collage philosophy class. I remember thinking, no that won't happen in my lifetime. My point is this attitude isn't as old as some of you seem to think. The immorality we live with is only 45 yrs old at the most. I'm telling you it can still be stopped if enough people want to stop it. But it doesn't sound like very many of you want it stopped.

Let me try this. Why not make smoking cigarettes allowable again every where? No more bans on tobacco. But we banned it because it damages health. Porn damages health too. But even worse is the damage done to the children, teenagers and young adults used to make it. They don't know any better and unless they are hurt badly they grow up seeing nothing wrong with it. So it does plenty of harm.

I say God wants us to do whatever we can to get our society to see the lack of morals is destroying us. I can't believe I'm the only person here who feels this. Let the Holy Spirit talk to you and you'll know I'm right. I know what I'm calling for is a big thing. What God asks us to do is rarely easy. If it was the whole world would be going to Heaven.

JTC, Anything is possible with the Lord.  And yes, we must do our part. But scripture has also described times that would come and events that would take place. If we look at Genetic manipulation of biological and plant life and the extent of the manipulations, you can almost come to the conclusion that man is playing God and would not heed the call the respect those areas.  But as i mentioned before ,the Genie is out the bottle, we have asked for the wishes and he is out now, who is going to put him back in the bottle.    But, you are right on the other hand, Our Hope is  God, who can do all things.

Jeremiah 32King James Version (KJV)

27 Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

Luke 1King James Version (KJV)

37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

The reality of moral purity that 'IS' of our Lord cannot be reconnected in flesh... when we fell in the garden we lost any hope of what that was like in original design! Now we see in a glass darkly it will not be fully illumined till in His presence upon death... so to rely upon one's own ability to address Godly morality is to be puffed up by knowledge that is simply not there and error is at the door. We wait with hope to become this morality that God has for all eternity maintained in Himself ... might I even say we long in s/Spirit to be so!  Love, Steven

but noob, we are becoming what we shall be. We have the same Spirit now that we will have then. We have the same Spirit that Jesus had. It's not a black and white thing - we're not black now and white then. ...?

God's Word will be fulfilled perfectly and this verse directly speaks to us what you have questioned

1 John 3:2 (KJV)

[2] Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

We are here born of Spirit walking by faith waiting upon God for the fullness of what He has began in us :) Love, Steven

I was questioning you. You are waiting to die when you can grow toward your fullness now.
