I watch PBS News. They don't have commercials so they don't need to worry about ratings.

Here I will post a link  form your own view:

They pretty much push the leftist, socialist agenda.  Not worth listening to.

I have listened to PBS several times, but I like the BBC world news better. The ratings is not a concern of mine. It Is the atmosphere that I tend to look at. If I see an overwhelming urge to demonize any one side, I mark it up as a hit peace and move on. The one thing I really like about PBS is the human stories that don't involve the mean old this or the mean old that politics.

That depends on what you listen too. If you end up ignoring a station because you assume that there is nothing there worth listening too, then you victimize yourself. Just because some spin their news doesn't mean you can find some gold in thar hills that might just save your bacon.

It's a travesty when American news is so smeared with bad reporting that we feel we can't trust any news reporting here.

You trust in God and keep yours ears open and scanning every news site for information. The you do your research and see what pans out. There are two or maybe more sides to a story. You only loose when you don't take anything to the next level and fact check.

How so?  The News Hour that I watch always seem straight to the point no shinny stuff. They also have guest from both sides of an issue.  So I don't know maybe I am not see what you are seeing. :noidea:

I like BBC as well. But I don't have cable so PBS is the only news I can get. Other wise I search though Youtube for news clips.

I have found this news source to be pretty unbiased as compared to others.  I'm interested in hearing what y'all think.  Personally, I've had all I can take of Fox, CNN, etc.

Thanks for the heads up, I have added their app to my phone.

It IS a travesty and a horrible shame.  I watch different news reports on the same happening and get totally different slants because all of the talking heads are now 'stars' and put their own spin on everything.  I'm SO sick of it; if there was a news agency on Mars I would probably tune into it.

Don't count on that transmission anytime soon. :P  It appears the Martians already know how bad it is here. Remember the lander years ago that was delivering live feed through NASA? The last time this would ever be allowed and because just as the lander was approaching through the atmosphere of Mars with the surface in view so as to make that landing a beam flashed from the Martian surface. It shot straight toward the camera and then everything went into black and white snow. The lander being shot out of orbit..

I watched that live event and saw the spark from the surface when it first flashed. Then if flashed larger and the beam approached fast toward the viewer.
It was not surprising the excuses that came from all the official channels after that. But those that saw it will never forget.

Years later when the Shoemaker Levy comet string was projected to impact Jupiter a live NASA feed was broadcast again. I tuned in. It was pathetic! What was the live feed we were allowed to see? All the researchers on the project and their emoting as they watched their monitors for the impact.

I could give a red duck about how they react! I wanted to see the impact. However, because there was always obviously no way to predict what will transpire in a live broadcast space event, presumably because of that Mars lander event NASA seemed to not want to take a chance on the comet impact with Jupiter.

What was going to happen? Impact string into the surface of the giant planet and then a bunch of angry UFO driving aliens fly out to respond?

Television here is so controlled. Outlets don't even care about getting the truth out. Just as long as they're first. I've stopped telling friends about the latest broadcast I saw because too often, like once, it turns out the breaking news was false. Or the details weren't as reported. But that outlet just had to be first to stoke peoples emotions who are watching.

No wonder in war one of the first things captured is the communications system. If you can control what people know you can control what people think about what they know and how they live from a place of knowing.

Like all this garbage about enemy-obama. Please! Do we think we're going to watch the walk of shame when that scumbag is put in handcuffs and marched to a federal holding facility for crimes against the nation? Treason? Espionage? Anything?
When Hillary wasn't arrested , when Lynch makes insane comments now about Trump after claiming from her seat as AG that she had no interest in pursuing any allegations against Hillary and that after an unethical if not illegal meeting with her husband aboard a government jet, we're never going to see corruption reported as being held accountable.

People slam Trump now for saying Trump tower was tapped under Obama's orders. Obama knew Hillary was illegally conducting SoS business in her basement! Under his orders. Do we think Obama gives a whim about the law? And what is the proper step to eavesdrop on a private citizen who's running for office under the banner of a separate party? That there is one is a forewarning.

Meanwhile, the corrupt press doesn't report, remind, people of enemy-obama's hot mic recording when he was speaking to PUTIN'S next in command when Obama was in the end of his second term. Wherein enemy-obama stated to the man that he'd have more room to work with RUSSIA once he was out of office.

And those 8 thousand classified CIA documents that Wikileaks released contain information that shows the U.S. government has a way of making their dirty work in hacking peoples computers and phones look like the RUSSIANS DID IT!

The Russians are coming. The Russians are coming! Sound familiar?

The red scare never gets old? Trump must be in bed with the Russians! Oh, really? Who had first access to those sheets?
