See somewhere the difference between "lie" and "bear false witness against", btw.... more clear? (If there's something else you meant by "lost me" repost ..... If nine commandments are sage advice, how can the fourth not also apply as to the right thing to do. You people can't have a logical conversation without going into a circular argument. Have a nice day. Realize some old posters have long term problems that cannot be disclosed online. For several this came out years ago, sort of accidentally, and hasn't been mentioned again as far as known. It does make "logical" conversation impossible , but that just has to be accepted ..... (nothing was ever accomplished to resolve this, and it has always been difficult on all the forums, not just this one)

If you read what the early church fathers said (and I mean the original non-doctored writings) then it is apparent that they warned new Christians to not Judaize the Sabbath. But to use it like Yeshua did. Sabbath was made for man! Just rest and unplug as much as possible from the noises of the world. So don't worry about not starting the car or getting a burger. Yeshua rubbed corn to eat (work) and did good works on the Sabbath (work). Just keep it as a glory unto the Lord God Who rested on the seventh day from the creation of the universe as we know it. Just chill and don't do the work and normal stuff like you do the other days of the week (but please change baby's diaper). I think some LIKE to pretend you have to do all the law on the Sabbath as an excuse for not observing it. Truth is, you ARE free to choose. It is between you and your God. The Lord knoweth the heart and innermost thoughts... Edited November 11, 2017 by Justin Adams add

I have no problem with resting one day of the week, but when you Call it the Sabbath, things go with that word.
