You REALLY have to be careful when you go to sites like this because there is so much shoddy and terrible Biblical scholarship out there by people who know just enough about the Bible to be wrong and teach it incorrectly.

Jesus Christ did NOT quote the author of the Book of Enoch, whoever that anonymous person is who could have possibly even written his book after Christ.  I keep finding a range of possible dates of that book from 100 to 300 years before Christ to as late as 100 years after the death of Christ.

Jesus Christ and the author of Enoch quoted King David who lived a thousand years BEFORE Christ and BEFORE the author of the book of Enoch [not written by the Old Testament Enoch]

First:  King David circa 1000 BC - Psalm 37:11 KJV- "But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."

We need to truly be as careful as a kitten tiptoeing through a room of sleeping Dobermans when we scroll through internet sites for information about the Bible.  Much of it is lies and even more is dangerously wrong by people who were trying sincerely to be right who just do not have the competency for proper scholarship....

.....or else, they have an agenda and they pick and choose sloppily to prove a point that is incorrect.

The fact is, the early Church Did Not agree that these books were "inspired" or they would have been in the final Canon of Scripture.  The fact that they are referred to or even quoted 'in part' means only that they did have some things to say that were true and worthy.  Remember the saying, "A broken clock is right twice a day," which is absolutely true (if you're using a 12 hour clock), but you would not want to depend on it to get to work on time.  Neither do you want to place unwarranted confidence/trust in any of those other books.

Word that.  Genesis clearly teaches that Death did not enter the Creation until the fall of Adam and Eve and the subsequent curse upon all of Creation.  There cannot have been any pre-Adamic civilizations, or creation by means of evolution as evolution (per the theory) involves the death of inferior life forms and the advancement of superior life forms, i.e., "survival of the fittest."

Commonsense indicates that the Earth is quite old.  Many Christians accept and believe this while still taking the Bible literally.  Seen any unicorns lately?

"Commonsense" that goes against what Scripture teaches is called "error," or in religious terms, "heresy."  Genesis clearly teaches that Death did not enter the Creation until the fall of Adam and Eve and the subsequent curse upon all of Creation.  There cannot have been any pre-Adamic civilizations, or creation by means of evolution as evolution (per the theory) involves the death of inferior life forms and the advancement of superior life forms, i.e., "survival of the fittest."

As for what "many Christians believe," well, many Christians today believe that premarital sex/shacking up is ok, as long as you 'really love the other person."  Many Christians today believe that homosexuality is ok, as long as "they really love each other" because "love can't be wrong."

And as for your "unicorns," that is a mistranslation of a name for an animal the the early translators did not know, not having a complete understanding of the Hebrew, nor possession of all the manuscripts and other writings that placed the term H7794 שׁוֹר shôr From H7788; a bullock (as a traveller). wall used by mistake for H7791: - bull (-ock), cow, ox, wall [by mistake for H7791]. No, it would be better if you revised your understanding of Genesis.

You will NEVER find one quote from me in any of the tens of thousands writings I posted on multiple sites that even remotely suggests that this document belongs in either the Jewish Testament or the Christian Bible.

Actually, yes we can.  At least the "remotely suggesting" part anyway.

By your comment about removing Genesis (in the context it appears both immediate re: Creation and general re: the OP, it is very easy for one to conclude that you are doing just that, suggesting that "this document" (Book of Enoch, which supports old earth creationism) belongs in the Bible.
Just sayin.

Good day  Mr, Michael Fernandez;

It seems many people have different  understanding from even something coming out of Holy Scripture.

As you seem full of energy and zeal to defend your belief about Holy scripture, i would be very interested in your feed back to Hazard topic;Lucifer's creation and rebellion.

that thread speaks of creation existing before the six day creation period.

Hazard has scripture to back up his claim, I wouod be interested in hearing you refute his claims.

I also would very much like to believe as I always have that  the six say creation was the beginning of all, but Hazard keep bring up a passage of scripture that can put into question that. I was just wondering what your response to him would be on that.

Regards

Hi 1to3,

Question, how much do you need to refute the Lucifer OP?  I read the first dozen paragraphs and found so many false, unwarranted "assumptions" that, well, actually in just the first few paragraphs, convinced me that the author either has no command of the English language (let alone Hebrew or Greek) leading to his many false assumptions, or, he's just trying to stir up trouble by confusing people.  Since I don't like to make accusations of ill intent that I cannot prove, I'll have to give him the benefit of the doubt and just go with his writing from ignorance.

As the OP is quite long, do you need the entire thing refuted?  That could take a matter of a week or more (as I have to fit it into my work schedule and my work at home rebuilding after a fire) or would showing that he is off in just the first few paragraphs, involving clearly unwarranted assumptions?

Here's just the first few paragraphs:
"Scriptures show that originally, Long before Adam and Eve were created, God created the Earth and placed Lucifer as ruler of the society there."   Writer's premise stated, not proven.

"God gave Lucifer control of the Earth kingdom (Rev. 12:12; Ezek. 28:11-18; Isa. 14:12-14)"  Writer's assumption (per his premise above) is that this took place before Adam's Creation.  Let's look at his Scriptural support (or lack thereof).

Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. Rev 12:2 NKJV  This is a passage that describes, in context, the birth of Christ

Rev 12:1-6 NKJV

1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.

2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.

3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.

4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.

5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.

6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

Eze 28:11-18 NKJV

11 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

12 "Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "You were the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.

13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created.

14 "You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.

15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you.

16 "By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within, And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones.

17 "Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you.

18 "You defiled your sanctuaries By the multitude of your iniquities, By the iniquity of your trading; Therefore I brought fire from your midst; It devoured you, And I turned you to ashes upon the earth In the sight of all who saw you.

This only states that Lucifer was "in Eden, the garden of God," but does not say anything about when Lucifer was created.  Clearly Lucifer existed before Adam, but that would be because He (along with the host of heaven) was created on Day 1 of Creation.  It does not support his premise "Long before Adam and Eve were created, God created the Earth and placed Lucifer as ruler of the society there," as the Garden was created after Adam, cf.

Gen 2:7-8 NKJV

7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

8 The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed.

Isa 14:12-13 NKJV

12 "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!

13 For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north;

Again, this says nothing of "when" this occurred and thus is a spurious assumption

Lucifer obeyed God and ruled for an unknown time before "Iniquity was found in him. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee" (Ezek. 28:13-15).

There is nothing here that supports Lucifer "ruling" anything.  It only states, correctly, that for an "unknown time" Lucifer was "perfect."  Whether that time was 1 hour, 1 day, or several days is unknown.

Before Adam Lucifer was the ruler of the Earth. Again, the writer is making an assumption, stating a premise that he has not proven.

God is taking about Lucifer in these Scriptures. He was a perfectly created arc angel;

"Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee" (Ezek. 28:13-15). See my comments on this passage above.

Lucifer wanted to control the universe and knock God off His throne. He over a long period of time convinced one third of God's angels to rebell (sic) with him and they rebelled against God and His universal rule, and invaded heaven to try and de-throne God Himself. (Ezek 28:11-18; Isa. 14:12-14). "over a long period of time" While it is true that Lucifer wanted to usurp the place of God, the writer makes an unwarranted assumption that he took long period of time.  There is nothing said in Scripture about the length of time involved in these events.

So, 1to3, as you can see, from the very beginning, the writer makes a premise based on his own (and/or others) presuppositions regarding the events, and then interprets Scripture to fit those presuppositions rather than letting Scripture say what it says and not say what it does not.

From what I've seen in just a quick perusal of the OP, he continues to do the same sloppy and erroneous work throughout.

And Also stick To Their Made Up Masonic Controlled Denominations.

It's really not a good idea to insinuate that Christians are being controlled by the Masons, Jude.
