Actually, IB, I'd have to answer "other." You see, religion is man-made.

Jesus, on the other hand, is truth, and true Christianity is not a religion.

Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Religion is a man made form of worship of God or some other form of deity.

In truth, it is not something of which is felt to be focused on much by God the Father, if at all.

Of course, this is only my thoughts on the matter, for I am not one to claim any denomination or religious faith. For in my heart as well as mind faith should not be something of which should have a label.

That may be true and indeed written in scripture. However, I do not wish to argue with you over this. Although, my oppinion as far as no faith, just as no man being better than the next still rests.

Religion can indeed lead a man or woman to Christ, but it is also it that can just as easily topple it. Faith should not have to bear a label in order to be there.

Religion is our response to faith, it is not faith.

Faith is a gift from God. It is the revelation of God himself, to us.

Religion, is how we respond to that faith. Faith draws us to know, love and serve God. This is the purpose of religion.

my response to the poll was that faith and religion are two different things however the scriptures have varying messages on this topic

It would appear that religion is generic
