Christian Music Bands & Gods Will

Hi I have another problem I have been dealing with and that is Christian music groups doing the will God? I would most certainly appreciate it if someone could help me out with this.

Does God like Christian rock?

I would think he likes it better than Ozzy .

But he might not like it as much as the gregorian monks.

I think God likes anything that glorifies Him.

I guess my question is for when paul and the other apostles preached the word they were doing Gods will. Christian artist on the other hand sitaround and just sing to glorify God is that what God would want us to do or to do as the apostles did?

Have you ever listened to any of those guys?

Besides, worship is the highest form of praise.

How do we give thanks without worship?

Yes Gerioke I am saved I asked because we listen to people Kurt Franklin & Dc Talk and they sing to God and say they are doing his will but did Not Jesus Christ say in the temple that we say yes to God but that doesnt mean were doing his will?

I would think if DC Talk was singing praise and glory to god but turning around and drooling over the money and women and the fast life and basking in their own self importance then I would agree and say they are not doing Gods will but their own.

I read the Keith green biography a few years back and was quite impressed how this man had a love and compassion for God. He lived it. He ate slept and breathed God. And he was an excellent singer/composer of contemporary christian music in his time.(he died around 1982 or 83. There's nothing wrong with music that glorifies God.
