SO the apostles were meeting on a roman day?

Think slowly on this - "selah" dwell on this......   they met house to house, EVERY DAY,

and  then do not think on this: "The Lord's Day", because all about that is in error here.(the enemy established his doctrines about this completely in the world religious system GENERATIONS BEFORE you or I was born,  even in the first few centuries) .....(not long after the Apostles died) ....

"The Lord's Day" was never the say the sun god was worshiped on  (except for the lord of darkness, that lord) ......

All I am saying is that Sunday is the day the Lord rose again, it is perfectly Scriptural

Peace:

14th Nisan was a Wednesday. Passover Lamb and Yeshua slain in this afternoon. (AD 34)
The afternoon/eve of 17th is the Sabbath when the resurrection happened. Exactly three days and three nights.
Then into the 18th Nisan. Ladies on their way to the tomb. First Fruits sheaf waved (on the 1st day). First Fruits always follows the Sabbath.

There is literally a ton of evidence in papal writings and edicts to prove the Romans did this!

Tradition contradicts Scripture (as usual - like it has to or something) ,

so the deceived ones who put tradition over Scripture, and rely on tradition instead of relying on Yahweh and on Jesus,

cannot  be brought to admit that tradition is so totally wrong - they HAVE to believe it, it seems....

footnote:  "tradition" , not just of the rcc, but of all the world, looks like it ALWAYS contradicts the TRUTH, and fights against what is right....

even

if at times it looks like it doesn't .... God's Word is Perfect , and never wrong,  so tradition is where the error ALWAYS IS.

Pocket change !  :) >>>  there is over 17 to 200  tons just in their underground library , all to promote the errors ..... all 'secret' except as they allow visitors once in a while, visitors to help deceive others ....

(look up the underground library  - OVER 50 MILES LONG - very secure too )  in rome I think,  for centuries and centuries and centuries.

They might believe that, or used to, but it is likely not the mark of the beast,  it is only the day of the beast. (as they* admit in their 50 mile underground library, and millions of publications)

*they= those who started the fallacy and other old wives tails .... (sic) (more polite than demon's tales)

Coll. 2:16, Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

This refers to all the Sabbaths of the law of Moses, including the regular weekly Sabbath. All of them are now abolished with the law thus fulfilling prophecy (Isa. 1:13-15; Hos. 2:11).

Christians are now free to keep any day they want to as a Sabbath (v 14:17; Romans 14:5-6; Gal. 3:9-10)

All Sabbaths were a shadow of the rest we now have in Jesus Christ (v 17; Matthew 11:28-30; Heb. 4:3, 10-11; 10:1).

In His Wisdom,  perfectly clear and complete before even the world was created,

Yahweh with glorious comprehension of all things past and present and future ,

in perfect LIGHT to behold the likes of which no human on earth has seen,

with no possible defect, with no possible lack, with nothing at all out of order,

just sheer beauty and radiant glory

Yahweh formed from His Wisdom His Own Plan and His Own Purpose for His 7th Day Sabbath

everything Yahweh accomplished He did perfectly with no spot or wrinkle - pure and perfect and complete and glorious !

The devil and mankind seeks to soil Yahweh's Plan,  every day they do, until Yeshua Messiah puts an end to their folly.

Again, you're just like the others. You can't see the truth for tradition. The Sabbath didn't start with Moses, it started at Creation. None of you can define what it means to "keep" the Sabbath that Jesus supposedly did away with, yet I posted the scripture's meaning and all I get back is more dogma.  To further make you feel good, you label me as SDA. I've never darkened their door, nor their teachings. I'm showing you the word of God. Here is a translation that obeys the original:

Matthew 28:1 (YLT)
And on the eve of the sabbaths, at the dawn, toward the first of the sabbaths, came Mary the Magdalene, and the other Mary, to see the sepulchre,

The lie is "week". And as I've said over and over and you don't get it, this "first of the sabbaths" is directly linked to this verse:

Leviticus 23:15 (YLT)
'And ye have numbered to you from the morrow of the sabbath, from the day of your bringing in the sheaf of the wave-offering: they are seven perfect sabbaths;

The Passover is the 14th, then the Feast of Unleavened Bread (a Sabbath) on the 15th, Sheaf Offering the next day (the morning after the Sabbath - of Unleavened Bread) on the 16th, then after the weekly Sabbath, you COUNT seven Sabbaths and then one day more to Pentecost. Read Leviticus 23 please?

Therefore, Jesus didn't rise on Sunday but on Saturday just as it says in the word of God. You're relying on the Catholic dogma that's crept into your beliefs. You go down rabbit trails that have nothing to do with the subject at hand talking about more dogma and judging others for no reason except to avoid the truth. Congrats, you've followed the same path as the Pharisees.

Good day to you.

"None of you can define what it means to "keep" the Sabbath that Jesus supposedly did away with, yet I posted the scripture's meaning and all I get back is more dogma."

.

Jesus never supposedly did away with the Sabbath, scripture plainly and clearly teaches that He did do away with the Sabbath.

Concerning meats and the Sabbath days: "One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. LET EVERY MAN BE FULLY PERSUADED IN HIS OWN MIND. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. . . . But why dost thou judge they brother? or why dost thou set at nought they brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. . . . So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. LET US NOT THEREFORE JUDGE ONE ANOTHER ANY MORE (Romans 14:1-13; Gal. 4:4-11; Col. 2:14-17).

If the law of Moses, including the fourth commandment, was in force in the New Covenant the above statements would never have been written by Paul. Each Christian can do as he pleases concerning the Sabbath and he is not to be judged by his brother " ANY MORE."
