Cold Turkey is best way. Get rid of EVERYTHING voodoo NOW. Then ask God, to reveal to you, why you think you need to be in control over people, places, things and situations. Then turn your will and life over to the care of Christ / God on a daily basis until you no longer need to, because you have already. Try this, and it will be the best thing you will ever do. Then seek to saturate yourself with the Word of God....have a daily quiet time of reading the Word and prayer. Play some hymns....the old hymns' words are so full of meaning.
