I agree the Witnesses will be on Earth, in and the State of Israel, from the first half and into the second half of the Tribulation.   But the 144k's moment won't even take place until weeks and days before the Second Coming of Christ.   This is actually when the "Last Days Revival" will take place.  And every people from everywhere will flood to hear.

 

They are Sealed and Protected, while all around them and throughout all over the world, Wrath is being unleashed.

Excellent observation. Nowhere does the bible say they preach because they don't, its a "Men's Tradition" that's it. But they key is in understanding who they are and the timing of the chapter. Them being "Sealed" simply means like us Christians they come to Christ Jesus, and in so doing they will understand Matt. 24:15 and Flee Judea at the AoD sign. That is why God orders the Winds (Judgments) that hurts the Earth, Sea & Trees to be held up, well what hurts those three? The Rev. 8 Trumps. So, God says get Israel saved/atoned BEFORE my Wrath falls via the Rev. 8 asteroid.

So, how is the "144,000" male Jews all of the Jews who repent? Well how is the Church 10 Female Brides? God uses numbers all throughout the bible. The number 10 = completion, 7 = Divine Completion and 12 = Fulness. So, God has stated He has saved Himself 7000 men that have not bowed unto Ball, He has stated in Rev. 7 he will have "144,000 male virgins" and in Zech. 13:8-9 God says 1/3 of the Jews will repent, so which is it? God can not lie so it is all three, but two are encoded codes. 

12 x 12 x 10 x 10 x 10 = 144,000 or ALL Israel who repents !! Via Completion x Fulness

7 x 10 x 10 x 10 = 7000 or ALL Israel who repents !! Via Divine Completion x Completion. 

And thus the 1/3 in Zech. 13:8-9 will be 3.5-5 million Jews who repent or atone, not 144,000. They do not preach, they are protected, basically they are the Women of Rev. 12. God needs a Jewish peoples in order to fulfill His Kingdom Age promise to Abraham. 

When one gets the Seals are not Judgments but Prophetic Utterance by Jesus everything become much clearer on the time table scale. Rev. 6 is Jesus opening up the Sealed Judgment Scrolls, in verses 1-5 he foretells of the Anti-Christs actions and in verse 6 he foretells of the coming Wrath of God, this is why Seal #7 is over in Rev. 8 where the Wrath finally falls via the 7 Trumpet (Divine Completion) Judgments. 

Now, understanding God's Wrath only falls in Rev. 8, we can understand that Rev. 7 is the Jews Fleeing Judea Judea at the 1290 AoD event, which happens 30 days begore the Rev. 8 1260 events. What gets me is the same people who understand the 10 Virgin Brides = The Church, refuse to accept that the 144,000 = All Israel who Atones or repents during the 70th week. No, the MUST BE 144,000 Make Virgins !! But they aren't, its a code, just like the Woman in Rev. 12 is a code

We disagree, the two witnesses are given 1260 days, and they will be present on earth up to (The Last Day) as you have been shown

This has been taught for so long that it seems that many believe it.

Another one of those teachings that is believed because some teach it so much.
