I found this article and recently had seen a movie about synthetic meat made from actors but I can't recall the name of the movie.  I found it quite disturbing but I believe that this kind of thinking is being pushed on the the general public.  Just like the LGBT agenda, I believe they are laying the groundwork to desensitize people into thinking cannibalism is ok because it was synthetically made.  The wicked are trying to persuade by reasoning that it will be cheaper, it won't hurt animals, and the list goes on.  Any thoughts?  I find this truly disturbing and disgusting.

Sure, and Soylent Red was  a special treat. One can buy Soylent Red or Soylent Green Teeshirts online. They are fully organic!

Far from encouraging, I think stuff of that sort has warned for decades now against trusting  government that tries to make  utopias or cradle to grave security for the masses.

My favorite in that genre  is "Logan's Run".

Perhaps one has need to be a bit of a Sci -fi fan to appreciate the work. I grew up on good sci-fi books, and cheap western novels, went onto enjoy anthropology, works of naturalist's like  Bernard Heuvelman ( On The Track Of Unknown Animals ), and the inventive mind of Orson Wells.

None the less one day came the Holy Spirit calling on me specifically, and here I am, born again, a bond-servant of  my Lord and savior Jesus.

I do believe my total turning about was stronger for all the stuff I had read and thought to be so before  God the Holy Spirit came knocking and turning my life upside down and inside out .

Praise God for His mercy and Grace.

Me too! I had read some scary sci-fi, but that was the absolute worst. So well done! Glad I did not see it on the big screen. I recall psycho gave me nightmares - I did see that on the big screen in B&W.

There are many of those kind of movies I would not go to. I think Soylent Green caught me off guard because I didn't know what it was.

Yes. Both caught me out too. I really hate the horror genre that so many love. It makes me quite nauseous.

I saw the movie as a teenager and like it but not not the food "parts".   Gross.

I believe in the Old Testament the some Isrealites ended up doing this, after seige/judgements not that God ever endorsed it.

I don't recall reading about cannibalism in OT, can you give me a verse or book?
