In fact, I have never heard of God telling anyone to be silent when asked such a question. If you can show me in scripture where Jesus told his followers not to clarify who they are in Him, then I will accept that God told you the same. From 1 Peter 3 And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. Some come here saying God is just one entity who manifests himself in three different entities, the Father one second, the Son the next, and the Holy Spirit another time. Others say God is on in three separate entities, meaning three Gods. Others say God is one who who consists of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
