Well okay; I bet some "refugee" will claim Israeli persecution and will seek refuge and then entry into the USA via the US embassy at Jerusalem. So whats next. That date is significant for multiple reasons for many peoples and faiths. The move could raise the temperature of discord among peoples gathered for their own rites of faith, and lead to some raising up of new leaderrs among the groups that will want to war over the disputed territory. The nations and the power brokers of nations are likely having to reassess their own plans because of this move. The land for the temporary embassy is on contested ground, under Israeli control, but contested since 1967. The USA setting it's embassy there pretty much declares it to be Israeli sovereign land. The move complicates the whole two State solution negotiation and the stance of the last decades of USA presidents and secretaries of State leaving it all without validity in the eyes of many parties to the struggle that flares into open war and then recedes into terrorist campaigns over decades of dispute. To me it is a bold move made in the struggle of nations over Israel that closes out the era of timidity by the USA. This move plus the shutdown of financing to parties other than Israel in the area will make the USA the target used in the next bigger battle between the nations at Israel, as God draws the nations in with hooks firmly in the jaws of kings and armies. With this one move by President Trump, all the grand plans of the power makers are upset. The embassy's location will become a rallying call for some to go to war again. (It is a step that denies there are Palestinians, a position that I agree with but is seldom if ever favored by the world's leaders.) USA President Jimmy Carter in behalf ot the Carter Foundation Dec 7, 2017: “This fundamental shift in decades-old U.S. policy exacerbates tensions throughout the Arab and Muslim world, but we hope that protests can remain nonviolent,” said former U.S. President Jimmy Carter. “Any change to the status of the city without the consent of the Palestinians jeopardizes any prospect for peace. East Jerusalem is a linchpin of Palestinian aspirations for a state of their own.”

So whats next. Protests most likely. There's always protests. Maybe the Useless UN will condemn Israel again, or not. Something to keep an eye on anyway. No need to worry since God's got this all worked out - and we know who wins in the end.
