The question then is , on what soil DID we receive . Many come to a jesus that is NOT JESUS. An example , if you coming to JESUS for the love of money , He aint your god , money is . if people are coming to a seeker friendly jesus that accepts sins , then they did NOT come to the TRUE JESUS . This is a lot of the problem . If a preacher is hollering the five steps to be like me, the wealthy gospel per say and then gives the alter call, WHO WANTS JESUS he might as well have said , IF YOU WANT THAT MONEY , YOU GIVE YOUR LIFE TO JESUS. cause in truth , this is what many preach . IF you want that big job promotion and an easy life , Come to JESUS . that is what many preach. WHEN the message should be , IF you want to be saved then come to the ONLY ONE WHO CAN SAVE . Dan , I have read some of your posts . the attacks on paul shows me something is major off in your understanding . the man preached Christ non stop . He pointed to JESUS only non stop . If you see paul as being in error, then you need to start over and re read . paul, james , peter , jude , the others , preached the same JESUS and the same message . their writings do not contradict each other, they compliment each other . It seems you have a savage hatred against paul for some reason . What are you misunderstanding , or worse what did paul teach that you don't like . cause its something . The government that killed Jesus or even the one world government all rests upon one single verse that was commanded by Paul to submit to. Every wrong the government does in your name (with your tribute) you will be made to answer for. It is no laughing matter or casual nuance that all of the misery everyone is experiencing is hinged upon Pauls "guide" on the road to Damascus. Paul’s angry fight against the three pillars of our Christian religion (James, the brother of Jesus, and Peter and John) mystified, because Paul wins the fight by somehow proving that James was wrong about his own brother, and amazed, because I now realize our whole Christian religion might be based on the teachings of this one man’s vision. One thing a lot miss , is that most of that was talking about leaders in the CHURCH. not all of it was though. and by submitting , paul meant we obey the laws of govt , THAT DO NOT contradict the laws of GOD . That we do pay taxes . CEASAR was a wicked beast , and even JESUS said render unto ceasar that which is his and unto GOD that which is his . We do . we just do NOT obey any law that contradicts GOD . an example , we obey speeding laws , we obey all the laws of govt, UNTIL laws come which say , HEY bake those cakes for gays , HEY take this rfid in or on the skin. DONT evangelize , don't say JESUS is the only way , laws that oppose JESUS or ANY of HIS SAYINGS , we do not KEEP . JESUS never sinned . Caesar was no friend of GOD , yet JESUS did say render unto ceasar that which is his , and it was about paying TRIBUTE , TAXES etc .
