I just got my Mavic Pro Platinum and I gotta say -- it's incredible! I'm taking photos and I'm like WOW! This is incredible. So I started a Drone Club, if you have a drone, or may be interested in one -- join and let's share some of the cool photos, videos and tips. Just some of the cool photos, I took today, This is the view from the Arad Overlook flying toward the Dead Sea. Behind the water is the country of Jordan. This is another drone shot overlooking the desert of Israel. An outside look of the town of Arad. The town of Arad where I live. This is the first day, I've had my drone, but I have to say -- it's now my favorite hobby. If you have a drone, join the club! I have been looking at getting certified, and then taking the use of it into commercial application. I'm curious, what governmental limits/controls do you have to comply with where you are located? The photos are great encouragement to make the purchase! The use of drones in real estate sales has had a positive effect I think. As example; my wife had a property for sale out in the country, couldn't sell it. After six months she switched realtors to a realtor that dispatched a drone on a Thursday, posted the photos and video on a Friday. The photos are great encouragement to make the purchase! 2 You don't need to be certified unless you plan on being 'commercial'. But if you do it all as a hobbyist, then it's pretty basic. In Israel, I was blown away by some of the videos done by my friends in the land. I also added up, if I remember, the landing pad, extra long legs, lens cover, charger and a couple extra batteries, the total I was looking at was right under 2000.00 dollars. This is over 9,000 feet away from me. So almost 2 miles away these are some of the photos I took. This is the Dead Sea area, but you can tell there's a serious dust haze over the region.
