The current Democrat party is run by people who are ashamed of America and its founding and that feeds into the Trump derangement syndrome because they see America as a racist country from its very inception and since Trump is pro-America, it is easier for them to cast him as "racist."    There are universities in the US that are no longer requiring students to take American history in order to get a bachelor's degree in history.   American Civics are only taught in a couple of states in the US.  When I was in HS, Civics was a graduation requirement all over the country.   The less you know what your rights are, the more compliant sheep you will be.  And it is easier to push things like Socialism on people who don't history.   And young people who don't know the history of socialism and why it doesn't work, are gobbling this stuff up.   The Left is creating a historical awareness gap that keeps young people in the dark about the history of Fascism, Communism and Socialism, so that they will be more open to accepting those ideas and eventually help to elect people who possess those ideas and want to destroy America from within.

One reason they are trying to get rid of statues related to American history and why they want to change the names of institutions that were named after people like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and anyone who was a southern general during the Civil War is that they want to erase our connection with the history and founding of our nation.   It has nothing do with some fake moral outrage over slavery.

Progressivism is anti-Constitution.  The idea is that we need to "progress" past the US Constitution, that it is outdated.   It's why they are so opposed to the 2nd amendment and want to see it taken out and ultimately take away all right to bear arms.  It makes us a defenseless population.  It is the amendment that protects the Bill rights.   Trump is the enemy of the Progressive, Socialist/Marxist Left that wants to change the fabric of our country into some weird Socialist/Communist/Fascist utopia. 

And because so many Americans are so caught up in video gaming, are so entertainment-centric these days, don't know the Constitution, are losing a sense of history, and get their perspectives on the news from late-night comedians, it is no wonder that we are seeing socialists, Muslims and other anti-Constitution politicians being elected to public office in all levels of government in our nation.

The biggest threat to this nation is not Russia or North Korea.  The biggest enemy we have is current manifestation of the Democratic Party.  It is not the historical Democrat Party  of Truman and Kennedy. It is quickly becoming the National Socialist Party of America.  Sometimes, the enemy from within is far more dangerous than the enemy standing outside the gate.

Are we in fact seeing a demonic rage to which the only solution is a spiritual one, as posted above.

Another way to look at it would be to say well this is all prophesied and so it will happen anyway, so why bother. While that is being a realist, I don't believe it is the best course of action.

Praying for our enemies is a given.   But the problems we are facing as a nation are due to our own irresponsible and self-destructive choices.  We cannot blame Satan for that.   It's easy to say that it is an attack of the enemy, but the truth is that we allowed people into our government that should not be holding the levers of power.   My generation never had a reason to pay attention to what was going on and we allowed Communists and Marxists into our educational system and we ceded the educational system (primary, secondary and post-secondary) to the Left. And kids are being indoctrinated into believing all kinds of things that are simply not true and are self-destructive.

The Communist hippies of the 1960s in America got old.  And they ran for political office, became university professors and the CEOs in the media industry and now they are shaping minds and turning young people against America and our Constitution and way of life.  It's why good kids go into a university wanting to be doctors and accountants or engineers and end up joining Antifa and are led by activist professors who are using these kids to achieve a level of violent rebellion and revolution that they only dreamed about in the 1960s.

But we allowed it to happen.  These people were able to get their hands on the levers of power in the US because my generation and the previous generation allowed it to happen.  And now they are dug in and they have power and influence that they should have never been allowed to have.  And now we have generations of kids who believe that the first amendment doesn't apply to anyone they disagree with and they are willing to act out violently against anyone that speaks to a view that they find offensive.   We have generations of kids that believe that racism is a one-way street and that they can use the charge of "racism" to shut down free speech.  We have a generation of kids who have been led to believe that gender is a matter of choice and not biological, scientific fact.  

We have seen the left evolve from the soft tyranny of political correctness to violent brown-shirt styled gangs that will set university campuses on fire if the university invites  a speaker that holds to an viewpoint that the students don't lie.   We have gotten to the place where you can call for the death of our highest elected officials and harass government officials and their families and threaten them with violence, violate their civil rights and do so with no expectation of punishment or any consequences at all. Look at the weeks of violence that ensued after Trump was elected. It is disgraceful and is becoming increasingly dangerous in America to be truly conservative.

Abraham Lincoln said that the philosophy of the classroom in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next generation.  And I believe we are seeing the truth and wisdom of that statement borne out in America today.

A good example of this occured in my state. 

Tucson unified school district has a study program in the elementary through high school curriculum that focuses on latino studies. Tucson is the california of arizona in that it is extremely liberal. To the point that some want to become the 51st state because they hate the conservative part of arizona. This program was shut down by a legislative act that was signed into law by then governor jan brewer. It was shut down because the program taught, promoted, that the us stole arizona, including tucson which was part of the gadsden purchase (it was bought sheesh) and the program encouraged children to reclaim arizona for mexico. Outright treason was being taught in schools. 

The shut down didnt last long. The 9th circuit decreed that the law shutting it down was racist and that the program was permitted to continue to teach treasonous things.

That is what Left does all over the country.  They weaponize the court system to shut down what they don't like.  They also use the courts to overturn fair and honest elections in order to impose their wishes on the community.   That's been a huge problem that I have seen over and over in various states.   Anything a sitting governor does or any election that they disagree with in terms of the outcome, they attack with the courts and activist judges are all too happy to comply.

I watched both conventions in their entirety.   I don't need you to tell me what I did or didn't see.   I may have been wrong about the number of nights the RNC convention had flags on the stage.   I can concede that.  But that doesn't really change the substance of what I posted about and hatred for this country that is so poignant on the Left. 

Anti-Zionists lie all of the time.  But for some reason, you're okay with that.  So spare me the selective moral outrage. 

Edited to Add:  If all you can come up with is an issue about the flags, that in the grand scheme of things, isn't  as important as what else I said, I am not going to lose any sleep over it.
