Well as far as changing theology goes, I believe that is just a matter of growth and discerning the truth. The key is learning that no one is perfect and we should check all teachings against scripture.

As far as the here and now goes. When I think about the Infinate (God) and his dealings with the Finite (us) it just boggles my mind. I often consider our current reality as all one big dream, in God's eyes it is already finished we are just playing out the story line. When we die it is really us waking up to the "real" world so to speak.

God Bless,

Dave

Sheya -

We've got a mixture of some people trying to be serious and others just being silly.

That's all.

One day at a time Sweet Jesus, that's all I'm asking of you.

I'll settle for that too. The word says, Don't worry about tomorrow. So I'm not.

cheers,

eric.

Well, I must admit I am curious as to what you have to say. But I know too, that the only truth comes from God, and His word, so do not try to play the "car sales man" with me. Dan.

I often wonder if Gerioke is serious about anything, but I see some seriousness in some of his answers. And I really enjoy his humor anyway (after I looked up a few meanings to the words he used in his jokes).

I can't go any further with this right now, but anyone who wants to, please keep the subject alive if it's God's will. I have mixed emotions. As I have said, only if the Lord wills. Love ya'll .......jmh137

I have a very serious side, but I'm not allowed to discuss it on these boards :whistling:

DEA, my friend I am not trying to sale anything. I'm sorry if that's what you thought. But, you don't know me, do you?

Last summer as I was doing my paper route, I stopped as normal at one of my customers boxes. Before, I got there, I noticed alot of cars, and people running around in a frenzy. I thought someone, in a car had hit a child. I pulled up and a neighbor told me that they thought a 4 year old boy had drowned in the pool. These people were my customers but I didn't know them. I prayed a quick prayer to see if I should drive on with time pressing. Like I said you don't know me.

Before I knew it really I pulled up in the yard jumped out of the car and ran up in the yard. Somehow with all the paramedics working I was inches away from this baby. I prayed for Jesus to heal him and bring him back to us.

My husband and had previously been discussing how we know we should walk in the Spirit, but we never seem to.

I was inches away yet I didn't lay my hands on that child. I was in my mind questioning, fearing that what if I did and he didn't make it. I didn't have enough faith. I so believe what God's word says, but I didn't, I didn't I didn't, I I I.....

He died. What if? So much, even so much still, as I relive it, I fear I failed so greatly.

I don't know why I was impressed to tell this. But now it's out there and may it do what the Lord intends. That wasn't the end of the story as far as I was involved. But for here and now it is.

I am so sorry if I gave the wrong impression, but there's really nothing I can do about it, so I give it to the Great I Am. .......jmh137
