Let’s begin with Adam
•God created Adam from the dust.
•God then used part of Adam to create Eve.
. .LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs. . .
Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. Genesis 2:21-22

•God took Eve from Adam.
•Eve was female
•She came from Adam therefor Adam must have had a female part to his being.
And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: Genesis 2:23

Gender is determined by chromosomes:
•Males have both a “X” and a “Y” chromosome.
•Females have two “X” chromosomes.

•A father’s chromosome determines the sex of the offspring.
•His “X” chromosome produces a daughter and his “Y” chromosome produces a son.

Adam had both a Y-male and X-female chromosome.
And so Eve could be taken from him.
. . she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Genesis 2:23-24

•God created Adam with both male and female chromosomes.
•God then took Eve from Adam’s female Chromosome.
•The two separate beings were then brought together and made one flesh.

The Pattern Set Down by God

The Second Adam –Jesus Christ
Jesus was born of Mary –his “X” chromosome came from her.
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit –his father was God.
His “Y” chromosome was divine.

So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.  1Corinthians 15:45
Jesus -the last Adam

Adam
•Authority over creation
•Caused all mankind to be infected with sin
•Disobedience to God brought death
•Gave authority to Satan

Jesus
•Authority over creation
•Tempted but did not fall
•Brought the forgiveness of sin
•Obedience to God brought eternal life
•Took authority from Satan

Bride of Christ –The Church
•Just as Eve came from Adam the Church would come from Jesus.
So that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.  Ephesians 5:27

The Church is caring and compassionate -traits that are often associated with the female gender.
The Bride of Christ is composed of the “sons of God”.
The Church is the Bride but its individual members are “sons” !

•The Church was taken from Jesus and so the Church is female -just as Eve was female.
•From the Church, we receive half our identity which is female.
•As individuals, we receive Jesus who is a son and this is what determines our identity as a son.
Jesus comes to us as a “son” and this determines our identity as a “son”

Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” Galatians 4:6
The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15

But in Christ we are all sons:
The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry,“Abba,Father.” Romans 8:15
In this world we are brothers and sisters:
I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another. . . 1Corinthians 1:10

Hadn't focused on that aspect of sonship.  Would be interested in some bible quotes

Christian antiquity[edit]

Early Christian writers such as Justin Martyr, Eusebius, Clement of Alexandria, Origen, and Commodianus believed that the "sons of God" in Genesis 6:1–4 were fallen angels who engaged in unnatural union with human women, resulting in the begetting of the Nephilim.[31] Modern Christians have argued against this view by reasoning on Jesus' comment in Matthew 22:30 that angels do not marry, although it only refers to angels in heaven.[1] Others saw them as descendants of Seth.[1]

Augustine of Hippo subscribed to this view, based on the orations of Julius Africanus in his book City of God, which refer to the "sons of God" as being descendants of Seth (or Sethites), the pure line of Adam. The "daughters of men" are viewed as the descendants of Cain (or Cainites). Variations of this view were also received by Jewish philosophers.[32]

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
