Hospital ban on Bibles

I couldn't believe when I read in the newspaper that they are banning Bibles from hospital patient's bedsides because they 'offend other religions' when obviously they don't because they had Muslims saying that it didn't offend them!

They're also saying that Bibles are contributing to the spread of MRSA!

This proves that the government don't know what they're doing and feel sorry for them on judgement day.

Respect for other faiths is not going to be achieved at the expense of Chritianity.

In one hospital they have actually torn down the cross in the chapel and put prayer mats down (for Christians to use as well) but do you want to be praying to God in the same room as someone who is praying to a different God? It's blasphemy I tell you!

THIS IS A CHRISTIAN COUNTRY!!

What do you think, should we let them continue to get away with it or should we do something about it before Christianity is banned completely ?

What an opportunity! Just think...what could be better?

You could spread the gospel of the Risen Christ to those who've never heard the truth! You could demonstrate kindness with a smile and be a living witness!

Yes, I would like to see proof of that as well.

Sorry to break it to you, but this is NOT a Christian Country. This country was founded on moral and biblical principles but that's about it. How can a country be Christian? Obviously not everyone here is Christian. The only thing we can do is to pray for our leaders, and pray Christian leaders get into office. We can make rules that make people have to BEHAVE morally, but that doesn't change their hearts towards God, or make them Christian.

When I was in the hospital, the reason why I don't remember the bible being there was because.. oh yeah, that's right... I WAS SICK!!! Does anybody really pay attention to their surroundings in the hospital? I mean, especially if you're there and in a lot of pain. And Nick's girl, we ARE a Christian Nation, because most of our leadership is Christian... or at least claims to be. But I'd still like to see some proof of the claim that hospitals are banning bibles.... of course, the easiest way to avoid that is to go to a Catholic or a Christian hospital... LOL
