Are you aware that most of the Christian world disagrees with your interpretation?

I am not saved by most of the Christian world. I am only saved if indeed I have the Spirit of Christ (which I have asked Him for.) and Hope to receive to His fullest without measure some day.

All I'm saying is that you may want to do a little more study in Scripture and re-think your interpretation.

Satan's greatest weapon is to convince us that HE doe not exist.

Fiosh is right, Denise. Satan is real and is an individual. You would be hard pressed to explain Jesus' temptation in the wilderness as anything but confrontation with Satan Himself.

I don't know where you and Fiosh are getting this. I have never said or even implied that satan does not exist. But I did say that in kind to the way that it has always been the majority is wrong just like they were when the Lord sent Noah and Moses and his prophets and when the lord came Himself. The masses have turned to fables and fairy tales based on their leaders misconceptions contrived by their iniquity of "God and Christ for profit"(trade).

Denise, you said:

"...Christ taught us that satan is any man or woman that is only mindful of the things of men and not the things of God."

This is the statement that I am not in agreement with.

Do you or do you not believe that Satan is an "individual", a "single (spirit)person", one and only one (spirit) person who thinks, plans, acts, etc. ?

Yes or no???

:emot-prettywink:

Thanks,

Fiosh

It is not that dificult to understand if you listen to what happened and what Christ said. In one scripture Christ rebuked peter calling him satan. In the other scripture Christ said, to peter, again calling him satan. He was speaking to the adversary that Peter was being at the time. The word satan means adversary. Then there is the message of "mindfull of the things of men". If there was a demon diety named satan it would be mindfull of the it's own agenda as the fairy tale states.

Mt 16

23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."

Mr 8

33 But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, "Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."

Can anyone find or direct me to one scripture that states there is any power anywhere that does not belong to God.

De 32

39 'Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand.

Isa 45

7 I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things.'

ob 1

11 But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!"

Satan is nothing more than an accuser, a liar and a murderer who only has his evil inventions and his arm to raise against anyone.

Joh 8

44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

Mt 23

15 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.

Mt 25

41 Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

Mt 23

13 But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in

Ac 13

10 and said, "O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord?

are there evil spirits out there? Yes. Passed on from person to person.

Joh 6

70 Jesus answered them, "Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?"

Joh 13

2 And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray Him,

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
