Brother please,

He is not hating all things Israel.

He is just pointing out that Jesus didn’t rise from the dead on Saturday.

He rose on the first day of the week.

Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons. She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept. And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe. Mark 16:9-11

Respectfully, you are wrong.

Please study it carefully especially in light of Israeli feast days, the Sabbath and mistranslations by those that deliberately tried to do away will all things Jewish. Abdicate is EXACTLTY correct.

Here please study these words of scripture, and explain to all of us, how you get the first day of the week is The Sabbath.

  • Now when He rose early on the first day of the week,

Study all you like.   This is not the way to discover the truth,  when the truth has already been denied and taken over by tradition of men.     As Jesus Promised,   seek the truth, and keep seeking the truth,  and you will find the truth and the truth will set you free (from tradition at least;  perhaps many other things?)

He was killed after the 14th Nisan (the day of preparation and when He shared Passover with the disciples -eve of 14th into the 15th). On the 15th Judas betrayed Him in the darkness in Gethsemane.

15th Nisan at about three pm He was laid in the tomb (Wednesday). he was there 72 hours. On the third day, near to evening on the second Sabbath of the week (the weekly Sabbath) He arose as they were cutting the first fruits. He was already 'up and about' when the women came and found the tomb empty very early on the 1st day of the week. Follow the Tanach.

Yeshua did not rise on SUN-day (the pagan day of celebration). He arose on His Sabbath day.

Please read and understand Abdicate's post.

Do you have a quote of him saying this?  I have confronted people who believe and teach OSAS about this, and they admitted that Christians who take the mark of the beast are still saved, however I have never actually heard of John MacArthur admitting this.

Look online ,  simple search,  for the several false teachings and expose's about false teachers.  Yes,  look for "quotes" of their own words to verify they themselves taught false gospel, and don't accept it until seen.

Your opinion is no match for scripture.

What day of the week do you claim the first day of the week is, if not Sunday?

Just curious.  What hour of which day do you think that the "first day" being referred to begins?  Doesn't it start late on what we would consider Saturday?

6:00 PM or sundown on Saturday.

Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.  Mark 16:1-2

I guess I don't understand what the issue is.  Or it's relevance.

The gentleman was claiming that Jesus rose from the dead on the Sabbath, not the first day of the week.
