Is it even suggested in the bible that we should clean ourselves or bathe ourselves? (other than our feet) I know psalms says purge me with hyssop I will be clean, but this also is suggesting spiritual cleansing. Most areas of the bible when talking about uncleanliness are about spiritual uncleanliness or defilement right? I thought it was a funny question so I had to ask it. ( I do bathe every day I just thought it was funny question ) Edited July 2, 2019 by BrandonRTyler I am clean!

It is not just Biblical to wash daily, it is likely more healthy also, as long as poisons are not used.

And you are clean, but not every one of you.”

I almost didn't respond to this, but since it was posted, well. Edited July 2, 2019 by BeauJangles

If you could stand the smell and don't mind people going to great lengths to avoid you, you could save yourself time, expense, and effort by not bathing.

( I do bathe every day I just thought it was funny question ) The Jewish people were healthy for many reasons, including the ritual mikvehs (water baths) before attending to scripture. Naaman was told to bathe in the Jordan to cure leprosy. Torah explains to wash pots and etc. in running (clean, not stagnant) water, etc., etc.

This was a situation of faith and obedience, rather than just for cleansing per se, but a bath is a bath!
