Do you stand with Israel?

1. There is no such thing as "Israel the Church." You are promoting replacement theology which in theological terms is what we call a radical heresy.

shiloh357, Am I? Theologically speaking, I guess you forgot to read Acts 7:38 and like verses.

Keep on searching the scriptures

It's really not that hard if you take an overview of the big picture, mote.

God didn't switch to plan B when the leaders of Israel rejected their King and Messiah. This was known by the Lord since the foundations of time and space.

He used this to bring salvation to the gentiles and this was the beginning of the "church" when the faithful sons of Abraham (the true jews) would be joined by the nations in His glorious Kingdom.

So what is plan A?

That He would send His Word through Israel to the seed of Abraham so they would know when His Son appeared. So many of them DID recognize Yeshua that it began to spread to the nations...and we (the gentiles) were allowed into fellowship with the saints of old.

It is the Lord Himself who makes the distinction between Israel and the Nations. Israel is who He uses to reveal Himself to the nations!

Yet His plan isn't just for the redemption of the nations..it is for the redemption of Israel as well. Why would God redeem someone who is already redeemed? This should be enough for anyone to see that Israel and the Church are separate entities.

I understand why you have some confusion over this issue because this doctrine of Israel=Church was taught by the Roman Catholic Church for about 1600 years...but it's never taught in the Bible. For example...this is but one place in the New Testament where there is clearly a difference

Romans 11:11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. 12 But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their fullness bring!

I could show dozens more examples if you'ld like but that should be enough. Now...salvation is of the Jews according to Yeshua's words to the woman at the well. What does that mean? It means that we would not have known about God had He not sovereignly decided to use them to bring the gospel to us.

This ought to make us grateful rather than envious that they are the Chosen People. Now, He is using us to bring that same gospel back to them.

As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies on your account; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, for God's gifts and his call are irrevocable. Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God's mercy to you. For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

Why did God decide to things this way? I don't know. Why is grass green?

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!

How unsearchable his judgments,

and his paths beyond tracing out!

"Who has known the mind of the Lord?

Or who has been his counselor?"

"Who has ever given to God,

that God should repay him?"

For from him and through him and to him are all things.

To him be the glory forever! Amen.

So let's vow to be about the Father's business, ok? They were "chosen" as a light to the nations and they have suffered much throughout history for doing that and even more for disobedience. Show them the same mercy you have received though YOU were also His enemy at one time.

You will arise and have compassion on Zion,

for it is time to show favor to her;

the appointed time has come.

14 For her stones are dear to your servants;

her very dust moves them to pity.

15 The nations will fear the name of the LORD,

all the kings of the earth will revere your glory.

16 For the LORD will rebuild Zion

and appear in his glory.

17 He will respond to the prayer of the destitute;

he will not despise their plea.

18 Let this be written for a future generation,

that a people not yet created may praise the LORD :

But according to you, Acts 7:38 does not mean the Church because it does not fit your understanding of,

Again, you've taken what others are saying and claiming and ASSUME that I'm saying the same thing. If that's not stereotyping.

For your information, just like the Word of God, you never make a doctrine on just one verse, althought many try to do this, likewise, you don't jump to conclusions on one person's statement. This is your erroneous error.

You're assuming a lot, thus, your on the attack to put everyone down because of your own failure to understand what an individual is truly saying because it "sounds" like "replacment theology" so it must be!

You are so dead wrong about what I believe about Israel and the Chruch. So sad, so misinform, so stereotyping.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
