Alive 680 Posted November 16 I thought it might be helpful to build a resource for folks to have at their disposal. Mods--if this is appropriate and/or a better location for it is considered let me know. I will build on this if it is OK.

Dennis1209 2,592 Posted November 16 Another tool I've found very useful that I've purchased; is a number of laminated "National Geographic" maps for Israel and the middle East regions. It's great for transposing ancient lands and borders to today's countries and geographic land masses. Works especially well with prophetic events; such as where and what country is biblical Elam located? Biblical Elam is going to be destroyed in the not to distant future, and the Bible describes its destruction like there's radioactivity involved. It so happens ancient Elam includes where Iran's Bushehr nuclear facilities are located today on the bank of the Persian Gulf. It's also interesting to note, that some of those cities of today mentioned in the Bible, have the same name or are similar and close to what they were once called. Diaste 1,233 Posted November 17 (edited) How interesting! This Roman Empire map above shows Rome did not go further east than the Levant. I find it interesting that all the maps Alive posted showed the empires stretching to the Indus valley. The Islamic map I posted shows the same.
