Maybe you would capsulize that for me.

I don't think so....   if find when things are capsulized people pay less attention to what's being said...  capsulize is kind of what, but doesn't usually contain the why and it's the why that people need to agree or disagree with what's being discussed.

the subject is complicated...   so you want me to spend the time condensing that into a short thing that you would fully understand and type it all up...…   I don't think so...

I already know it's wrong to tell a woman she can't talk in church, and it always was wrong.

I don't need 3000+ words to tell you why. I can do it in one sentence: It's wrong to tell a woman she can't speak in church because I wouldn't want anyone telling me I can't speak in church.

well, that's  your reason, but was it Paul's….    I can tell you that there are people who come here to do not believe that women should speak in church..   and at least they should read that article...

Paul told women NOT to speak in church:

[33] For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,
[34] the women should keep silence in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be subordinate, as even the law says.
[35] If there is anything they desire to know, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church.
[36] What! Did the word of God originate with you, or are you the only ones it has reached? I Cor 14:33-36 RSV

Paul told what women not to speak in church?    What location.....   and why would he tell them that with so many women having leading rolls at other churches....   especially in Rome.  There is something here that is deeper than surface speech....     Who is he speaking to, what is the situation there, and why would he take that viewpoint there when it was not in other places....

Paul said "the women." I don't see him specifying any particular group, so I have to assume he is speaking of all women.
