May you have a merry Christmas Betha and a blessed beginning to your new year. The Christmas joy is shared in many ways, for each person shares there joy and love as uniquely as we are God made individuals. When that love and joy is shared, We should be able to receive that as a blessing and with the same heart, be a blessing to others. 1

A Roman Catholic 'Christianization' of a pagan holiday Saturnalia (a fertility feast usually involving sexual orgies and child sacrifice). I explained the shepherds would not be out in the fields at night as Luke described (as it would be too cold) that John hinted at the actual time in John 1:14 where the Greek states he 'tabernacled among us' Jesus much more likely was born during the feast of Tabernacles in September / October. The minister replied, "So would it have been better not to do anything about Saturnalia?" I said I suppose not... But that answer never settled with me. It is never better to compromise truth associating it with untruth in any way, ESPECIALLY NOT regarding the Ultimate Truth = JESUS CHRIST. Ever! That being said... I think He is quite able to list any of HIS Festivals in scripture. Perhaps you don't understand the reason Christians celebrate the birth of their savior, lifting up JESUS Christ is not nonsense, and God is pleased that we lift up Christ everyday, especially at Christmas as we stand up and proclaim he is King. We express this joy as we show his love to everyone, even to those who have a hard heart, those to whom sadly view Christmas as pagan, to those who are lost and dying, to ALL mankind in hopes that we can win one to Christ. The Christmas joy( Christ our king being born) is the perfect opportunity to share him. Nonsense seems to be then, not sharing Christ during the season when he's most accepted. 1. We share the joy of Christ by giving a card, a gift, sharing a meal. 2. We let others know this joy by sending a note, by a Merry Christmas greeting, by a warm decorated home that invites and welcomes strangers. 3. We attend church services where millions only attend on Christmas to here the message of his birth, why because of the joy of Christ that's shared on this blessed and holy day that we as the world has set aside. This is nonsence? No This is not God approved? No, God's blessings are upon Christmas! God uses many means to tell everyone of his love. Christmas is one of those days. Do you really believe Satan would of come up with a day that brings honor to Jesus Christ? no. To the very one he tried to kill and hates with an eternal hatred? No God has blessed Christmas and to enjoy this day is not nonsense. It's sad that people who claim to be Christians can't see the joy in this wonderful season. How sad it must make even God when those who say they are his children will not honor his son, when so many people's hearts are opened toward him on Christmas. I will still wish you a merry Christmas because I believe it is by this joy that I share in this season, as well as those who have also said merry Christmas!

As an old man stood standing, listening to the song, Midst all the madness of the bustling throng, In a shaky, hoarse voice he began to join in Singing the words of the famous old hymn. One by one people stopped with their madness To join with the old man for a moment of gladness. By the time the carolers finished with singing the song, The whole throng was united as they all sang along. As if by magic from out of the sky Church bells rang out from a chapel nearby. And when it was over the people greeted each other With messages of goodwill, they shared with one another. You see, that magical gift the shoppers sought for so long, Was not in the buying or scurrying along. That magical gift so desperately sought Was the Spirit of Christmas—which could never be bought. -- Tom Krauseits I believe The world seeks for something during Christmas, perhaps they think magical, perhaps it's fantasy or perhaps they don't understand they really are looking for the miraculous. A love, a peace a true joy to receive, something to grasp and hold on to for the new approaching year. Why isn't it then our job to offer what is real? Jesus Christ is this wonderful reason for the season. I believe this poem shows how one can influence many, let us be that one this Christmas that is the influence! Revlori God bless ? As it seems their will always be disagreements among us, may we all be able to come together and praise God for giving us Jesus Christ. To find the joy in him, to see the miracle in his divine birth and to bless him for loving us so much by giving us this most precious gift, his son. For if only for a moment, set aside our differences and be in unity with this one remembrance (Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men.
