This is a tough thing to go through.  I avoid relationships at all costs simply because of this kind of thing.  But you will get through it in time.  For different reasons I have told God I hated him before and even went out looking for reasons why God can't exist.  It's ok to be mad at God, sometimes it helps, He understands that we all go through really bad times in our life and that under our human emotions we have no control over matters of the heart.  Things must run there course and in time you will be cleansed of your pain, I know how you feel, though the circumstances were different I have felt similiar pain to what you are describing, it does get better, but it will take time.

I am not one to go and say all this positive stuff like look ahead don't concentrate on the present and past ect... because you will concentrate on the present and past for awhile, and the more you cared about this person the longer you will hurt.

This poem, I don't know if you have heard it before is great for letting us realize that the small picture seems to have alot of big holes, but when looked at it from God's view they are mear pin pricks in the fabric of our lives, we just cannot see or understand that at the most painful moments of our lives.

Footprints In The Sand

One night a man had a dream. He

dreamed he was walking along

the beach with the Lord.

Accross the sky flashed scenes

from his life. For each

scene, he noticed two sets

of footprints in the sand;

one belonged to him, and the

other belonged to the Lord.

When the last scene of his

life flashed before him, he

looked back at the footprints

in the sand.

He noticed that many times

along the path of his life

there was only one set of

footprints. He also noticed

that it happened at the very

lowest and saddest times in his

life. This really bothered

him and he questioned the Lord

about it. "Lord, you said that

once I decided to follow you,

you'd walk with me all the

way. But I have noticed

that during

the most troublesome times in

my life there is only one set

of footprints. I don't understand

why when I needed you most

you would leave me.

The Lord replied, "My precious

child, I love you and would

never leave you. During your

times of trial and suffering,

when you see only one set of

footprints, it is then that

I carried you."

Dude, have I been there!! It's tough, bro, but ya gotta hang in there. Took me about TWO years or better to get over one chick I was seeing. This was back in the late 80's. We were together for a year. The relationship kind of came apart and she bolted. I mean BOLTED! It was like she died. Didn't see her, didn't hear from her. She went back to college and found another guy, more dirt in the wound. THEN the devil stepped in and wanted some of me,too. I started getting phone calls from Lucifer. I asked the operator,ma'am,do you know who Lucifer IS? She'd say do you want to accept the charge? No,tanx anyway. I had one time driving down the road,at a stop light. Three chicks and a guy, roll the window down. They're like 'why are you alone'? I said because. They said 'because you're UGLY!' Laughed and drove off. Folks,I am NOT ugly, just for the record, otay? :crosseyed:  But you know what? The devil KNEW it would get my goat! It sure did,but I rebuked the devil. Good advice here. Listen to it. She has a will and God will NOT over rule it! She leaves,LET HER GO,and do NOT hold on! I did the same stuff....fasting,prayer,anointing pic with oil....the whole spiel. Forget it,dude, and now. Today, otay? If you haven't by now, anyway. Move on,there ARE other fish out there,ya know. Patience...I hate it,believe me I know where you're at. But there's no other choice, unless you go out and find the nearest chick to marry. NOT a good idea, dude! Two wrongs don't make ONE right, not today not tommorrow! And marriage is permanent! Want a 'permanent' mistake on your record? You can get over this...a marriage is a 'bit' trickier,in God's eyes. Best bet...get over her today, move on. Who knows WHY she came around when she did. Facts are she's gone,so move on. Find someone willing to be with you. Patience...hate it,but there's no other way.... :thumb:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
