Of what importance Is the Temple today?

Actually the Temple was not to be destroyed by the Romans, it was to be captured for the wonderful ( in the Romans eyes) monument/achievement of achitecture that it was, but there was an irate Roman soldier who was angry at the audacity of the Jews and set fire to the inside which rose to such a high heat that it melted the gold lining that was everywhere and in order to retrieve it, they had to totally take each stone down to get at the gold that had melted into the cracks and crevices of the stones, thereby leaving no stone one upon the other.

Please be careful about what you say about this structure, even though the evil Herod built it, still Yeshua referred to it as "My Fathers' house", even though his throne ( the ark) was no longer inside.

Is a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem important today? What would it mean to you? Many know that the Sanhedrin has been reestablished in Israel, they believe that we are living in the time of the coming of Messiah and it will be they who determine who he is.

OK. I still do not believe the temple will be rebuilt. I don't believe it is something we should be watching for. I think Satan is using this whole idea of a rebuilt temple as a distraction from the real issue. Most of the issues we deal with are spiritual issues. We need to be spiritually ready for the return of Christ.

Who is Satan trying to deceive? Does he need to deceive new agers? How about those who are secular or atheist? Of course we know he already has those people.

They are lost. He needs to deceive the church or the bride of Christ. So he is focusing his deception on believers. He takes scripture, twists it, leaves a little truth, adds alot of lies and uses it to lead believers away from the truth and Jesus.

Scripture says we are the temple of God. The AOD refers to Satan setting up an idol or false worship in our heart. Not some physical temple somewhere. Satan wants us to look for a physical temple, and while we are busy doing that, he is sneaking false doctrine and false worship into the real temple, us.
