Galatians 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

3:9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

The promise was that through faith, the heathen Gentiles would be justified. Those of faith would be blessed along with Abraham.

Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

The blessing of Abraham found in Genesis 12:2-3 would come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ, that the Gentiles would be justified by faith according to the promise.

Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

The church, the body of Christ, is not the seed of Abraham as being considered to be his children Israel, but rather, this verse is saying we are Abraham's seed, which is referring to Christ, as can be seen in the verse below:

Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Christ is Abraham's seed and by faith we are Christ's (1 Corinthians 3:23), the children of God, and as children, heirs of God (Romans 8:17 Titus 3:7).

Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

4:7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

We do not receive the promises of inheritance given to Abraham (Romans 4:13 Galatians 3:18), but rather, we are fellow heirs of Christ according to Ephesians 3:6.

Nice presentation! I would only disagree in that Jews and non-Jews take part in the same inheritance , eternal covenant and promise.

In Galatians 3:22 The promise of eternal inheritance is by the faith  of Jesus Christ. We are all "heirs" according to this promise. In Romans 4:13 Abraham and his seed are heirs of this same promise through the "righteousness of faith"...this is the righteousness of God through the faith of Jesus Christ          ( Rom. 3:22 , even though the name of Jesus was not spoken  before His earthly ministry).

I think the inheritance in Galatians 3:18 is the land.

Psalm 105:11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:

Now the promise by faith is justification unto eternal life in Galatians 3:22 for all, Jew and Gentile....se Galatians 3:28

" And I will give unti thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, ALL the land of Canaan, for an EVERLASTING possession; and I will be their God" ( Gen. 17:8)

"......Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God." ( Rev. 21:3)

( please note the similar language of "I will be their God" in these two and other verses.)

All throughout scripture God uses language such as ""everlasting possession", "tabernacle of God", " all the land of Canaan" "heir of the world" and so on, to describe the same place at the end of this "sojourn"....HEAVEN.

Ultimately this is where all of God's children are going to be. They are  not going to be inheriting this current sin cursed land for ever. It's an ETERNAL promise for all of God's chosen. And AMEN to that!

Right

For Israel, not the body of Christ, the church in this dispensation.

Douge, " dispensation" is used four times in the Bible.

1 Cor. 9:17 and Col.1:25 refer to a dispensation "adminiatration" of the ministering of the gospel.

Eph.  3:2 having to do with the "dispensation of the grace of God"

But to answer your statement: "For Israel, not the body of Christ, the church in this dispensation."

look at Ephesians 1:10:

" That in the dispensation of the fulness of times He might gathet together in one all things in Christ, both with are in heaven , and which are on earth; even in Him."

And my understanding that all things in Christ pertain to everything in Christ including Jewish people and non-jewish people alike. I just don't understand your need to separate the redeemed of the Lord before the cross or after.

You said the land promised to Israel was heaven on 2-15....that is not taking the Bible literally, but spiritualizing it, which by the way, could make it anything you want.

God will reconcile the earth by Israel and heaven by the body of Christ, and in the end, all things will be gathered together in Christ.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
